"Order the number 2, and 3 street tacos. The garnishing were not fresh at all. The taco dripped in excess oil. Really disappointed today….. customer services lacked. I don’t what’s going on but I hope this was just a bad experience and not what’s to be expected in the future."
"We ordered quesbirria with consome, beef and head tacos and one pirata. Everything tasted so good, I am a fan of that pirata! The service was quick, they have a few tables there, but what I have seen most people take out the food. Their drinks are great as well. Definitely worth a try."
"A small quaint taco truck that sits in a gas station. Don't let it's appearance fool you though. This place is packing flavor! The tacos are absolutely flooring with flavor. The biría qusitacos are the best in town. Authentic, fresh, and quality ingredients are all part of the appeal. Pay them a visit, you will not be disappointed."
"First let me start off by saying that this taco place is one of the better tasting one I have ever been too. Great customer service and the food is just delicious. But I've noticed things have changed the past year or so because El Grande is getting more popular. I find that the quality of meat or attention to detail is lacking. The last 4 times that I've bought a fajita taco or torta the meat has HUGE chunks of tendon and fat! My friend stopped going to El Grande for this one reason. They are either not chopping the meat correctly or getting the worse meat possible. At first I thought it was a one and done deal getting chunks of tendon and fat myself. But since I love the taste of their food I've good 3 other times throughout the year. Needless to say, each of the last times that I have ate the fajita tacos or torta it has been full of fat and tendon. I am highly disappointed at El Grande as I love his taste on food. Hopefully he reads this and improves his quality because as of now he has lost a customer."
"#1st time here 1. The entrance - Food truck on the side of a Chevron off Franz Rd in Katy, TX. 2 wooden picnic tables if you want to eat there. 2. The First Vibe - Great! Clean! Backs up to a neighborhood. We did notice upon arrival that it is ONLY CASH. Luckily, there was a gas station with an atm - $2 service fee. 3. Time 2 table - we got this to go - so roughly 10 mins. 4. Menu - simple and small. What to get? Quesatacos with the consome. OMG. The consome is a game changer. 5. Server - no server but the man at the window took our oder. 6. Drinks - they have topo and glass bottled sodas 7. Food - see photos! Larger portions than I thought. I definitely had leftover tacos the next day 8. No dessert 9. Management - Management takes all the credit for the process - service was great and quick. No issues. 10. Cleanliness - Clean. I think some food trucks can get a bad rap for not being clean. But the area surrounding the truck and the quality of our food can attribute to the cleanliness. Def coming back. New go-to food truck spot for birria tacos and consome. Check out our IG reel on this food truck at craveonomics on Instagram! #craveonomics"
