Tacos Regios El Coquis KATY TX(Food Truck)

"Music blaring full bast well after midnight. People show up there all hours of the night drinking beer. God knows what else is going on up there. I see people drinking beer. They have a ice chest that they keep beer in that's illegal too. Then they jump in the car and drive off. I can here them from my house 4 blocks away. By law they're supposed to move the trailer every 24 hours and clean underneath the trailer. That thing's been parked there for 4 years, There's trash around it. The tables weren't clean when I went there. I watch him take their dirty greasy hot water and dump it in the gutter. Which plugs up all the storm pipes, so when it rains heavy and it does often. Gutters in Westlake subdivision over flow and can not drain. Some of the houses are low lying and flood due to all the grease in the drainage pipes. Our neighborhood has to pay a big sump truck to come out once a week and suck all the grease out of the pipes at a T section. That is part of the drainage system. That's why it's Houston law to move them. They're not made to be permanent structures. They're portable so they're supposed to roll them out everyday and be used for providing food to construction sites and other areas like that. Not be on every street corner. We even have a area for gourmet food from such kind of trucks. But they rotate them. These illegal trucks dont not get inspected. Many of there city licenses have expired. So they might as well just live in the damn thing."

"The food is decent but the customer service is awful. Today, they informed me that their credit card machine was not functioning, so I requested to place my order and I was coming back with cash. Upon returning with cash, I had to wait in line once again because had a bad experience before . The lady informed me that my order would be next and advised me to park. However, after waiting for 20 minutes, I approached them again to get my food, only to find out that they hadn't even placed the order. This is the second time this has happened and consistently poor customer service at this taqueria. Furthermore, every time I come here, they expect a tip even though I am dissatisfied with the service."

"Customer service was good. For the price, I expected better quality meats and flavor. I got 3 gringas (basically a quesadilla) with a small piece of avacodo, packed with very cheap and bright red meat. The loaded baked potato was looked great, but when I dug in, only one small layer of cheese and a little bit of meat, and a whole bunch of potato, plus no flavor. The charro beans had a lot of fat. My kids only ate 25% of the food, and I ate 30% of mine. Keep in mind, I spent $60 but left so much food. But the service was great."

"Tacos are pretty good but good luck getting the right order. I am not one to complain and usually I don’t say nothing but when it happens for the second time, I will speak my mind. This is the second time I got 2 tacos Instead of getting 2 orders that I asked for and they charged me. The worst this is that i realized when i got home!! The young lady try to argue with and say it was not the cooks or her fault and I shouldn’t be upset. It is their fault for not training their personal how to take orders. I am a business owner and when my team messes up I own up to our mistakes and give my customer what they asked for and if there is a mistake I make sure they are taken care of the second time. That young lady needs to learn customer service. Also I forgot to mention that when I placed my order they gave me a price and then after paying she came to tell me it was more because the one who took my order messed up. They didn’t give me my order right but sure charged me for everything I ordered."

"Great location, great tasting food but the service needs some attention. You give me my order and don't check it? Come on restaurant service 101 check the order before giving it to the customer."
