"That lady behind the counter was rude to no end. I just wanted to pick up a few things and she was rude never said hi or thank you. Guess what I will never come in there again. No name tag bad rude service I guess you don't like me or your job. I feel bad for ya . Dollar general is right across the street and United, Walmart is right down the street you need a attitude adjustment. Say goodbye to a paying customer, I'll pray for you. This is why I stopped shopping at the family dollar on 10th street 2 years ago. Some things never change. So much for the Family Thing. maybe you should change your name my employee's are going to make you feel unwanted or like garbage. I can do both you know."

"I just left this store 2min. Ago and the place smelled straight up like weed. And the smell got stronger the closer you got to the cashier as if she's back behind the register puffing on a pen or something. How is this ok to do at work especially when your expected to represent someone's company????"

"One of the newer Family Dollar locations in Amarillo, about a year old at the time of this posting. Convenient location in the former Hastings on 45th, it's a typical dollar store with matching prices and atmosphere. The store is usually quiet and low-traffic which is odd considering the location. No complaints from me as this keeps the store looking well-maintained. They have a large selection of refrigerated and frozen foods, something nice to see at stores like this. They do not have hand baskets. They had them for about a week upon opening and promptly got rid of them, shoplifters is my guess as to why. Overall, one of the nicer, "dollar stores", in Amarillo."
