"First time trying this spot, pulled up straight from work. Really needed a cut and was looking for an alternate barber in the area because my usual barber’s times don’t really work with my schedule anymore. I Tried calling Javi’s on my way, phone just kept ringing. When I arrived the sign said open and the TV was on, but the lights were off. So I called again and it didn’t even ring, just got that automated number is unavailable message. Unfortunate because based on the photos it looks like a solid shop and I have last minute commercial shoot tomorrow which is why I needed the cut. No shade wit the rating, but as a business owner if you’re not gonna be open till 6:30pm make sure the hours reflect that online, it’s inconsiderate. I live in Kyle and just wasted time driving across town from where I work; now I gotta drive all the way home in traffic with no chop. Lol"

"Don’t bother using this barber unless you know the owner personally and have established rapport with him. It’s a toss up whether he’ll show up on time for your appointment or (in my case) even show up at all. Even after using the Schedulicity app to make an appointment (which he asked me to use to schedule the appointment) I showed up to a closed shop and didn’t get an answer when trying text and call the owner for an update. Ended up waiting 30 minutes before having to drive to another barbershop in hopes of getting a walk-in during a busy Saturday morning. I’ve had a cut from Javi before, and while the cut was great, he’s been late to haircuts or had to change time completely before, and this is the 1st time he just completely no-showed without any communication. His continued unreliability and lack of punctuality doesn’t translate to good business, hence the 1 star review."

"I enjoy coming to this barbershop, the best in the city of Austin. I have been taking my son to get his hair cut here for almost 6 months and they are very professional and well experienced with handling my 3 year old. He also enjoys coming to see them. The shop is very clean and well taken care of. 5 stars ⭐️"

"A cute and tiny barber shop, perfect for Austin. Every cut I’ve seen come out of that shop has always been clean and crisp. Javi and his team of employees are amazing at listening to what the costumer wants, and making it come to life. Absolutely recommended to anyone looking for a new, long time Austin made barber."
