He’s always willing to go over even the smallest detail for what you want and how to reach the cut you’re looking for. I would (and have) recommend him and the barber shop in general to all my friends."

"Joe was quite rude.. I came in 5 minutes late and I apologized. But he managed to mention that I "was 10 minutes late" 3 separate times during our appointment. Is an apology not enough? Weirdly passive aggressive. He finished 10min early and refused to do any adjustments to the haircut. He never checked in with me during to make sure its what I want and he had my back against the mirror so I couldnt see. Very unprofessional!"

"I did not get what I wanted, and I knew immediately when I saw my hair in the mirror. My barber was nice and I wanted to give the cut he gave me a chance, but after letting a day pass to experiment with the style, the haircut he gave me just does not look good. I asked for a textured fringe with a mid taper. Around an inch of my front bangs were cut off and don’t sit on my forehead at all, even though it’s the most important part of a fringe. I also explicitly stated the length I wanted to have and it’s simply too short. The top of my hair looks about an inch shorter than what I wanted. There’s also no texture to my hair and he said it wasn’t possible because my hair is too straight, but I’ve been to other shops and they pull it off just fine. The mid taper I received is also uneven on my left and right sides. I noticed it this morning. It doesn’t blend into my hair that well and I can see some weight lines left behind. I was nice when I initially left the barbershop since I wanted to be hopeful I could make it work, but it’s clear that my haircut is completely wrong. It wasn’t what I wanted at all and it’s disappointing for my first-ever visit. Not worth the $40 I spent. Still, my barber seemed nice. I won’t name him publicly for privacy and this can be a learning opportunity for him. I won’t be coming back, but I hope this shop does well with its future customers."
