"A true institution of the East End community! Carlos Tristan has been cutting hair for the better part of four decades, and then some. I recall being put up on the chair adapter for one of my very first hair cuts when my grandparents first took me for a trim back when I was about 5 years old. You'll never meet a kinder person offering such great service, and always with a smile, doing something he truly loves to do! If you ever find yourself in the East End, or riding on the Metro rail near the Wayside exit, do yourself a favor, stop in and say Hello. You may arrive to a full house waiting just for Carlos to do them up, but if you absolutely have no time to wait, and don't mind watching a little college ball, then let Juan fix you right up!
