"I previously had went to a Great Clips about an hour and a half before I found this place and received one of the most butchered haircuts. I was looking for somewhere to get it fixed and I had never been to a barbershop before, but I decided to try it. I had an appointment with James and he was very nice and did an extremely good job with fixing my haircut. Reasonable prices, outstanding work. This guy used three diffrent kinds of scissors and multiple tools we cannot name, but he sure as hell got the job done right. Highly recommend."

However, my haircut was disappointing my hairline was severely pushed back and the barber kept pushing it back knowing he made a mistake (guy that wears the cowboy hat). I still paid due to not being confrontational and respectful but for young black guys that care about their hair this is not the place to go near FT SAM HOUSTON. Go somewhere else and save your money."

He is kind, personable, and most importantly gives THE BEST FADES. There are barbers; and then there is King James. We found James in Stone Oak and have followed him to several shops ever since. We drive quite a ways because he is the best at his trade."
