"just wanted a simple taper and asked for no more than an inch off the top and got half the top of my hair cut off, about 3 inches. The front of my hair is also significantly shorter than the rest so i cant comb it back without the front sticking out. Basically have to start all over. thanks."

"Don't waste your time. No one ever picks up the phone. I eventually booked via the app. Showed up at a time of the app and the door is locked although light are on and looks like someone was there. Knocked and call with no response. Waited about 15 minutes. Avoid and find shop that is actually professionally ran."

"Initially, there were some scheduling conflicts, but we got them worked out through open communication. Manny (the barber) takes pride in performing his job. The atmosphere is chill/laxed and the effort was 100%. Trying to find a barber open on Sunday is difficult, so that is appreciated. The price is incredibly fair! By far the best deal (for the type of precision) I was able to find around. Shop is easily accessible and there a couple of designated parking spots for the shop. I appreciate the time and effort Manny put forth in making me look 'fresh.' You can tell that he appreciates your business. Whether you need a cut or beard trim (which I got both), Manny is your man. "Oblate Barbershop is the best in San Antonio. I have been living in San Antonio for 9 years and around my 7 year mark I met Manny the owner of Oblate barbershop. All it took was one cut and I was hooked. I even brought my son to him, who at the time was scared of haircuts due to a bad experience at another location.
