"As a Latino growing up in DFW finding a good barbershop is as important as finding the right size shoe or getting the right size socket on the first try. I remember as a kid in Oak Cliff my pops would take me to his barbershop on Jefferson and as soon as he walked in you got a family vibe right off the bat. Abraham the owner would greet us right away and my pops wouldn't even have to say anything. Abraham would just get right to work. The people in there all knew each other by name and would talk about the cowboys or whatever other topic of interest. It truly felt like you were one of the boys there, you were really family. I walked into this barbershop yesterday and that's all I got. A good cut (even though the kid was nervous and you could tell he was new at it), and the environment of a family setting. I don't know who the owner is yet, I'll find out soon. But I'm sure you wouldn't be let down by the people cutting your hair here. As a matter of fact I'd bet on it. And while you're there, feel the vibe. It'll take you back. Nostalgia is bliss."
