"First and foremost, I can’t comment on their braiding or skills. I am new to Texas and i was looking for a hairbraider that I made an appointment with on Style seat. The two women laughed at me when i asked about the braider. One women got up from the couch gave me a card and told me to call that number, they accept walk ins. I tell her thanks and leave, i call the number because the braider of my appointment is unresponsive. It is the same place i just left! Now feeling as though I being made fun of, i go back and ask why didn’t you just accept me when i was here?? The lady that gave me the card, was on the phone. Clearly, getting chewed out by whom ever was on the phone. Neither of them said anything to me So i walked out, never to return. Quite frankly I don’t feel comfortable getting my hair braided from people who don’t do their own hair. Do better"

"I came here to get passion twist done. At my initial arrival and upon entry it didn’t seem very welcoming but after being the bubbly person I am everyone seemed to have warmed up and all the ladies were great. However They are extremely expensive I paid $355 for passion twist. They did an ok job, however I do wish I would have followed my first mind and just did my own passion twist. But it’s the price I paid for being lazy and impatient. It definitely wasn’t worth the almost $355 I spent. I was a bit unhappy bc the lady who started my twist did not slick my hair(parts) but Fina went through an added jam, which ultimately will lift bc it wasn’t done in the beginning but I appreciated her trying to fix it. The one thing I did not appreciate the most, was Fina trying to convince me, “it’s not about if it’s slick or neat, it’s about the pattern.” I had to politely let her know for $355, it’s about EVERYTHING with me. I can’t speak for everyone else but it all absolutely matters to me. I like my hair neat and sleek, especially for that amount of money. It’s not completely terrible! However I would never go back. But if you’re in dire need like I was and cool with taking a chance, go for it. I have attached the original photo before Fina went in an added jam at the end. "I should have followed my spirit after reviews... Appointment time: 10:am Seen : appx 1:00 pm I originally was going for braids I let the owner convince me she could do a sew in, with a closure....i say convince because I am bald up top ... I went to buy two bundles of hair.. I return and she has a relative in her chair and i was sent to someone else to braid it... Then told the other girl would weave/sew in.. I said, "wait. You said you would do it!!". She replied, " oh she can do it well." While sitting there a young lady came to have ger hair "fixed".......i should have known... After getting the sew in started, she comes over..Fina, with the closure and says, "75."..I reply, "75 what?".. She says," 75 for closure." I tell her you never said that !!! Says you dont have to but i ask..then how will she close it????!!! It was clear the girl did not know how as Fina guided her verbally in their language...fina even started some to show her..oh..i missed in the beginning when i asked how the closure would be supported..i sad are you gonna glue it??? She said. No glue... Anyway...she used glue..on my forehead.. Why am I posting this...well, not one hour later in the store, the cap is showing...allllllll in the front... $215.00 for sew in+ 75.00 for closure..2 bundles.70.00...grand lesson......respect and learn from the reviews..she is just not an honest professional. Likes to play on words..."

"I was Highly disappointed because when I originally spoke with Ms. Fina she told me she would be the one to do my hair...I wanted her because I saw and liked her work...however when I arrived she had a different young lady that WAS NOT very experienced start on my hair! I should have followed my first mind and just left but needless to say I stayed and was VERY UNHAPPY with the results and it took way longer than expected just for a crochet style. She did not even fill in the hair all the way, she butchered it when trying to cut it and I had hair loss from the edges pulling to tight, not to mention a big bulky braid in the back from it not being braided properly or sewn down properly! I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO FINA!"
