"It has been over a month since I got my curly cut with Vanessa, and I’m so happy with my haircut! Before coming to Raven Row, most of my experiences at hair salons had been quite upsetting. Nobody seemed to know how to cut my hair. Stylists would give me a regular hair cut – washing my hair, combing and cutting it wet, and blow-drying it or leaving it half-dry, completely frizzy from being brushed and touched incessantly. I came out of those salons looking and feeling like a monster. I stopped going to salons altogether, and have asked my grandma to cut my hair for years.
