"NO SHOW AND NO REFUND Book at your own risk, but I recommend not wasting your time, money, and energy. I've gotten my hair braided here a few times but, after an experience where my appointment was rescheduled last-minute to a date when I wasn't available without any direct communication to me , I hadn't been back for over a year. (At the time, the owner was overseas and some cousin of hers was taking care of the shop and ended up doing my hair.) I decided to book an appointment to get my hair done on February 3rd. After booking, I called to confirm hair color. Phone didn't ring. I contacted the owner, Fatu, on Instagram and she said she'd get back to me. She didn't, even after I followed up, but I showed up anyway. NO ONE was at the shop and I waited for an hour. I've tried calling, messaging on Instagram and e-mailing. No response AT ALL... this, after the appointment was confirmed, I was charged a $50 deposit, and sent appointment reminders. It's been over a week. It seems the owner now lives or spends a lot of time overseas and I wish her all the best. But if you don't have your... stuff in order, don't take people's deposits and then not provide a service! At this point, if I didn't know better, I'd think it were a scam. Make it right!"

"The worst braiding shop in houston. I wasted a lot of time and money with this girl who obviously doesn’t know how to the simplest style. One slick back braided ponytail took her 5 hours and she completely failed at it! All My hair was white the next day from the gel she used and the braid was so stiff. I was so embarrassed. It lasted only 2 days at most & to top it all , I called to ask her to fix it and she completely brushed me off. I’ll never return ..0 stars. Don’t let these ppl play in Yall head"

"Zero stars. I made an appointment for Saturday October 8. When I got to the shop the lady said the girl to do my hair was hit there. I waiting 5-10 minutes before I started asking questions. She asked me to come back I said no I want my money back. It’s been a week and my deposit still hasn’t been paid."

"I just got my hair braided here and my knotless braids are beautiful but I cannot enjoy them. The service I received from one of the braiders was terrible. She ripped out my hair when separating the parts to try to “detangle the hair” and replied to me that hair grows back! with a smirk on her face. I had to keep my eye on her during the whole appointment. She also continued to taunt me for having a sensitive scalp and ask if this was my first time getting knotless braids. Mind you, that there where the most “PAINFUL” knotless braids that I have ever received. I have already lost my hair and will only know the true damage of my natural hair once I remove the braids. I am truly unhappy with my service. I spoke with the manager and she told me that she would resolve the issue and was genuinely disappointed. I believe that she was as well, but my trust is a bit shaky when it comes to this shop. I am aware that she was not there when this had happened but your staff is your brand and this honest review must be said."

"Love Fatu and her team, the braids are neat and last a long time. She services both me and my daughter and her versatility, omg!!! She can do ANY style. My daughter has gypsy knotless and I have twists in one photo and tree braids in the other photo with 27-32-613 colors."
