"Good haircut and highlights - terrible communication about the cost. If you want to spend lots of money on your curly hair for a good cut - not amazing, not great, this is the place to go. Don't expect clear communication about the pricing. Instead of being told what I was going to pay, I was asked twice if I had read the website. The website includes photos, and four tabs. One of the tabs is services and that does include pricing. The fault is mine for not reading more carefully. That being said, the person doing my service literally never said a number. If you are willing to charge that much, you should be willing to say it out loud to your client. I was told I had to submit a deposit for half of my appointment. When I looked back, I only had to submit a deposit of $89 which was half of my $178 for partial highlights. This didn't help me to realize I'd be charged an extra $550 for my haircut. It was a cruel shock to leave with my hair looking nice to realize my total for the day was $728. Again, the fault is mine for not reading all of the website more carefully, but I hope no one else has to have this cruel shock. This salon is not willing to use spoken words to convey their fees. You will only get this information from the website. This is a shocking lack of professionalism and courtesy. Edited after the cut grew out from three stars to 1 star. The cut turned out to be uneven and the color brassy. My next hair person was surprised by how uneven the back was. Despite the normal curly differences the left and right sides of the back were off by over an inch."

"I had the greatest experience! I walked up at open, with a botched cut and color asking for help after reading her reviews. She did a quick consult and was able to get me thankfully today. She was amazing, we discussed what I wanted in depth and I got that exactly! She went above and beyond and saved me! Pricing was more than I expected but the outcome was worth it."
