Dr. Kimberly Lake

"My first visit to Dr. Lake's office... I was impressed by the friendliness of her staff and even the sign in one of the exam rooms stating that she's a God fearing Dr. and would be more than happy to pray with you! Experiencing this initially put me at ease, as I am terrified of dentist! Although the 1st visit felt a bit rushed, I was overall satisfied with explanation of the plan that she sat in place. 2nd visit.. I arrive for the 1st root canal, where they put this rubber dental dam over your wntire mouth. Which totally took me for a loop as I'm extremely claustrophobic! Her assistant was very patient and kind but Dr. Lake on the other hand seemed a bit annoyed that I was having a panic attack! After giving me a 20 min break, we tried again and the moment they put the dental dam back in place... the panic attack started up again. Dr. Lake then decided to cut the dam to where it wouldn't cover my entire mouth and after 3 hours... that root canal was complete. Fast forward to today's appt. I came to get my permanent crown and another root canal. And again the moment they put the dental dam on... I seriously could not breathe. My heart was racing and I felt clamy.. I asked them if I could have a moment and once I felt that I wasn't going to calm down... I asked Dr. Lake... what are my options?? With a very condescending tone she told me I can get my tooth pulled! Of course with it being my front tooth I did not want to get that tooth pulled! Then when I asked was that my only option she began to tell me about another dentist that they have referred other patients to but it was going to cost me way more money to get an IV sedation! To be honest the reason for this entire long review is because I was so disappointed at the lack of empathy that she exercised! She seriously made me feel like I was being dramatic and wasting her time! I hate this because I was hoping that i found my forever dentist"
