"The summary of this review is you need any shoe repaired... this IS the place to go to! I am new to Austin and one of my shoes, the soles had completely deteriorated away (I know, I should have taken a photo). When I lived in CA, I always went to the same shoe repair shop and once you have found a good place, you stick with it. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The soles were pretty bad and I wasn't even sure if he could save my Ferragamo's. But when I walked in, I was greeted by the person who runs the store and after looking at my shoes, he reassured me it wasn't going to be a problem. They are a nice pair of black lace up shoes and I really didn't want to get rid of them, but there was almost nothing left on either sole and the heels were even pretty shot. But he was so confident in his ability to repair, I figured what do I have to lose. I was told it could take about three weeks but much to my surprise, they were ready much sooner. To be even more convenient, I received a text message stating they were ready and they have very early hours so I was able to pick them up before my work day. I was shocked when I picked them up. They looked just as they had when I had purchased the shoes brand new! He even polished up the shoes and they simply look amazing. The oldest pair of shoes I have are more than 30 years old. If you buy the right shoes, you can wear them the rest of your life. Certainly you are going to have to replace a sole and/or heel here and there but if you do that, a good pair of shoes is going to last a lifetime. And this pair of Ferragamo's is now going to be with me for a long time! I've read some of the other reviews and find some of them to be a bit unreasonable. The service provided here is phenomenal. I even forgot my claim ticket but the claim number was on the text message I received so it wasn't a problem. I feel luck to have found this place after just recently moving because it is without a doubt, my new "go to" store for shoe repair. Great service, fast and very reasonably priced. No matter where you live in Austin or the surrounding areas, it will be worth your while to come here for all your shoe repair needs."

"Awesome customer experience. I took my Red Wing work boots that are about 20 years old. (Yes, I don’t work all that hard). The resoled them and did an excellent job. Jimmy, the guy who works there, is super friendly and very knowledgeable and he will steer you in the right direction."
