"Be very cautious on going here. The dental hygienist are from a temporary agency. They were great but I never understood why North Texas Dental did not have their own dental hygienist. Also be sure to know your dental insurance. My boyfriend has his own insurance plan that I was not familiar with and we could not figure out why he was getting changed on each of his visits. When I asked what was going on I was told by the “back office manager” that his insurance only covered X-rays once a year but it is their policy to do X-rays at each visit every 6 months. When I asked for them to only do what insurance covered I was told that was not going to happen because of their policy and we needed to find a new dentist. I was totally shocked. I had set us appointments for our 6 month check up before all of this happened but when this happened we started looking for another dentist. One dentist that we were thinking of going with asked for our records from North Texas Dental. When we found a new dentist to switch to after we were told by North Texas Dental to find a new dentist I called North Texas Dental approximately 6 weeks before our scheduled appointments to cancel and found out they already cancelled the appointments. Just because our records were sent to another dentist did not mean we were for sure changing dentists. North Texas Dental never spoke with us before they canceled our appointments. Just be very careful with this dental practice. We have never in our long lives ever experienced anything like all of this before. We have found a new dentist that we are thrilled with that does X-rays once a year, doesn’t charge for the fluoride treatment, the dental hygienist are employed by the dental office & the billing department is fantastic!"

"I have been a patient of Dr Tran @ North Texas Dental for 3 years. The team is always professional & efficient. Today I needed a 15 year old crown replaced & a filling. Dr Tran provided a general overview of a complex procedure into a simple language that I was able to understand. She & team went above & beyond to put me at ease, sunglasses, blanket, Netflix & explained each step along the way. This was a completely painless procedure & I did not even feel the numbing injection. I attribute this to Dr Tran’s experienced skills & caring nature. Dental chairs can be intimidating but if you give Dr Tran a chance you will be in the BEST care. Bonus - my crown was replaced in one visit. No additional appointments needed.
