"I went to him as a child. I'm shocked he's still in business terrorizing children. He had the needle in my mouth and I closed my eyes. He wore glasses so you could see everything he was doing. He left the needle in my mouth and jiggle it and said I better open my eyes or he was leaving the needle in my mouth. The visit was finally over and I told my mom. I begged her to go in the back with me next time and she promised she would. We got there and was told parents weren't allowed. Horrible man..."

"I was discussing dentist with a friend and this monster came up. I am saddened to see that so many others experienced the same things that I did as a child, and that he is still in practice. I was held down, pinched, and slapped in the face by this “doctor”. Now as a 32 year old mother I very purposely chose a dentist that allows me to go back with my child while they are being treated."

"Zero Stars! I can not believe this monster is still open and isn’t in jail. Had a very similar horrific experience with my child as many others. He takes advantage of low income patients specifically those on medicaid doing unnecessary procedures. I wish I would of avoided this traumatic situation for my child by just doing a simple goggle search. I was taking back once they finished the procedure he was still heavily medicated, but I could see the fear in my child’s face. Once it wore off he told me the horrible way this doctor treated him. I hope all the hurt you have caused children over the years comes back and haunts you for eternity."

"reading these reviews about what a monster Dr. Culpepper is or was is shocking to me. all three of my brothers and I went to him as a child and always had wonderful experiences. I was excited he was still around so I could take my son there. I have been taking my son there for the past 10 years and we have always had a wonderful experience. I don't think it's Dr. Culpepper that sees him, but still...i had no complaints against him as a child. He was always gentle and kind."

"This man is a MONSTER. PLEASE CHECK YouTube for the REAL REVIEWS before taking your child this ABUSER. Dr. Culpepper is a sadist. My experience was back in the 1967. I was physically and verbally abused by Culpepper and his Nurse. He frightened me to the point that I tried to get out of the dental chair to escape his abuse. He and his nurse grabbed me by my hair and forcibly pushed me back into the chair with such force that my back was badly bruised by the neck rest. He screamed in my face, "OPEN YOUR EYES!!!" Every dentist I'd ever been to before had allowed me to close my eyes during a procedure, so I knew that was not standard care. They finally broke me. I gave up trying to get away while tears streamed down my face throughout the procedure. When I was allowed to leave to see my mother who was in the waiting area, the "doctor" followed. He smiled at my mother and gave me a toy ring while saying, "We are engaged now." I wanted to hurt him. I was exhausted from entire ordeal. It profoundly affected me psychologically. It was many years before I would see another dentist. Why my mother didn't sue is something I'll never understand. Even my caregiver brought the bruises to my mother's attention. It is unfathomable to me how Culpepper has been allowed to continue treating children to this day. Don't take your children there. CULPEPPER is a MONSTER. Due to my experience, I NEVER left one of my children alone with any healthcare provider."
