"I am new to town and went for a simple gel fill and she charged me 55 dollars which was more than I paid for my initial set. I was shocked and embarrassed that I didn’t ask for the price before she did my nails. They are misshaped and there are areas on the side missing polish. So I paid and tipped as any good customer would do, but of course will never return. I’m open to new suggestions in town anyone now a reasonable spot that goes a good job in Georgetown? Thanks in advance!"
"Tried this place for a fun girls day. The extra $$ for the massage was a waste and I could have painted my own toes with the way they look. They left paint all around my skin. It was supposed to be 50 min and then I added time for extra massage but still managed to be done before an hour. At the end I felt very rushed gathering my things and we were practically the only people in there."
"I went for a birthday pedicure, and I just got the basic treatment. The interior is nice but when trying to express what I wanted, the stylist spoke no English, which is fine. But then she ended up over charging me by $15 dollars and not using the color that I continually expressed that I wanted. The people are nice but the service was not great."
"I went for a fill and nail art today. I had a picture of what I wanted. She did the fill and the powder was not drying (never had that happen before). She kept having me put my hand under the UV nail light to dry it (never had to do that before to dry acrylic). She could not file them like normal since they would not dry properly. She then proceeded to do the nail art. Polish on my cuticles and not really like my picture. I finally got done over 2 hours later and wanted to cry when I saw how bad my nails looked. Then really wanted to cry when they said $85. I actually walked outside and came back in to have them put a clear coat on them. They were worse than this. I will have to go some where else now to try to fix them or get a new set. Writing reviews is not something I normally do but I want to save others from wasting their time and money."
"This salon is very pristine, clean, and relaxing. The decor is very lovely and soothing. Nice quiet classical music in the background. Drinks and fresh fruit served. Bound menus with clear pricing, professional staff, all dressed appropriately, and unlike a lot of other salons I've been to, when they were busy, they didn't stand around the clients eating or talking on their phones, or gossiping to each other. Even when they got busy you could close your eyes and relax feeling like you were in a spa. Xay who did my nails was very gentle, and did a great job.All the tools came from fresh sealed packages. They even give you a shoulder massage (which I declined but it's nice for some!) . Just be sure to bring some cash for tipping since there is no tip line if paying by debit/credit. Or be sure to tell them to add to total prior to running. Best pedicure I've had in ages, I'll be back for sure! (Great prices too!)"
