"Won't be going there again. I walked in, no one say hello, asked if I needed help, nothing. The two employees that were there were just gossiping. There was me and one other person. After searching for 5 minutes for something I needed I went to ask for assistance to Alyssa and they acted like they wanted nothing to do with me. Alyssa was so rude , I was with my baby who played with a small bottle. When I went to pay for my products Alyssa told me in a very rude way If I was going to pay for the bottle that my baby took it a few minutes earlier, cause if not she will have needed to throw it away into the trash because of it, so I did it, pay for my products and the bottle. And then she started to give me some lessons about parents responsibilities when there’s no need of it, cause she simply needed to ask for it in a better nice way, not as rude as she did. And the store manager was there and didn’t even tried to talk to her in order to make her act gentle. I know what my responsibilities as a mom are, this is why I payed for the small bottle and I also know that as required in a job where you are attending customers it is your responsibility and duty to be nice and gentle and NOT GIVE FREE LESSONS about parenting or any other lesson to customers. SO IF YOU HAVE KIDS DON’T GO. AND IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE LECTURED BY TEENAGERS DON’T GO."
"I just wanted to give a shout out to Jada at this store! This was my second trip back to this specific Sally’s.. I have been to pretty much almost all of the Sally’s located in Austin, Texas and I can tell you that some girls know their stuff and some don’t and Jada was confident, knowledgeable, helpful, kind and she even sold me something that she recommended I needed, it was affordable, practical and she was right because I did need it! Any upper management reading this should know that she made my trip (on my birthday) which I didn’t disclose to her a very nice experience and now I feel confident on my bday with my new nails thanks to her! Thank you!"
"Was hesitant to leave this review but my experience at this store bothered me. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is bc the Sales Associate that helped me was very nice. Went to this location in Southpark Meadows to grab a quick hair product upon entering there was 2 associates talking- I asked the sales associate for a certain product and she guided me to the product. I was shopping around for a few other things and overheard a lady tell someone on the phone saying "it would be put down as a no call no show" there was some other talk before she hung up. After she hung up she began dancing at the cash wrap and said "Good I get to write her up again". Being a Retail Store Manager I was not only shocked but very disappointed that she would tell other employees that she was going to write up their peer. I checked out and before I left I looked down at her badge that said "Vicky Manager in Training" I ask if she was the manager (already knowing the answer) she said yes can I help you with something? I said "No ma'am but I am a store manager and your conversation and leadership skills are very inappropriate" then said "sorry". Writing this bc making genuine customer connection is everything and our employees are our customers as well. I truly feel sorry for the Sales Associate that she was taking to it's not anyone's business that her performance is going to be documented. This is truly not fostering a positive environment."
"Friendly faces, always willing to help. I always have a ton of questions no matter how many times I've been to Sallys and they are alwasy eager to please. Thank you Southpark Meadow employees. Keep up the good work."
"I’ve been here a few times and always had a good experience. However, this go round was not so good. Another customer was asking me for some advice, because you know why not, and she just happened to want a color that I actually use to do ALL the time. While I am not licensed anymore, That certainly doesn’t mean I stopped learning. While I was talking with this lady an employee walked up and started to cut me off completely. The other customer first was trying to ignore her but the employee kept talking over both the other customer and myself. I get that working at Sally’s you are either going to school for cosmetology or graduated, but that for sure don’t give you the right to speak to people rudely because you have a certain way of doing hair that others choose not to use. There are all different ways to do hair, it is a preference, do what works for you. But mostly what I got from this experience is Sally employees seem know more than anyone else and only want you to follow their advice, regardless if you’ve been doing hair professional or other wise."
