"Mary is great. Attention to detail and nice too! I forgot the name of the person who did my pedicure, but he was really good too! Both were gentle!"
"I found Borgata Nail Salon a bout 6 months ago and I had been going to them ever since. The service had been very good until this last time when a dip nail service turned out to be really bad, the polish started chipping after three days and broke off by day five. I called them and explained the situation, they asked me to come in again so they’d fix it. I went in today which was already inconvenient as I had a lot going on at work. They hadn’t made a note of my phone conversation so we had to go through all that again. Finally the supervisor says we will fix your nails for free. A young woman comes to fix my nails and she starts talking down to me as if I’m a crook and here to take advantage. I got so upset and started to feel done for being treated like so. I asked to speak to the owner or manager, she was kind enough to apologize and wanted to have yet another woman fix my nails. I’m highly autistic so I explained to her that I didn’t feel good being there anymore and requested a refund. However, she kept forcing me to have the service, in the end I asked her how she would feel if the same was implied and she slammed the phone down. Problems arising are inevitable but how you resolve them says a lot about a business or an individual. I wouldn’t recommend this salon at all, if they treat someone with disabilities like this, I’d hate to think how they treat others!"
"Really bad nail place. Horrible job, a student would have probably done way better. Like 5 of my fingers were cut, bubbles in almost every single nail, supposedly this was an almond shape. Seriously it was the worst experience. AND when I complained, the manager was never there, always told me she would call me back, til this day never heard from them. Didn’t even received an apology from all those cuts. Paid 70.00 for this horrible job. I didn’t want anything for free, just at least a decent job for that price. Really bad customer service. Will never go back."
"Love this place! The tech was amazing, and used nail forms instead of tips. My nails look so natural ❤️❤️❤️"
"Really sad to hate to lower my ratings here, but definitely let down by my last few visits and will not be returning. We've been customers for about 5-7 years; the salon did a big makeover a few years ago and upgraded their salon chairs, added some additional services, to make it more posh. We went in this week and the chairs felt/looked grimy. The technician had no idea how to handle removing my gel coat, so it took like 35 minutes just to remove and my partners pedicure was done before mine had really started. I also asked if I could get a gel coat and my technician gave me some excuse about not being able to do so with paraffin wax which should have tipped me off even more than the time spent on removal. Felt like the rest of the pedicure was rushed after the gel removal and then they had a water leak near us that they were mopping up which was a bit of a distraction for everyone. I spent quite a bit of time in the air dryer before I left and keep my shoes off for another few hours so I didn't smudge my polish. I was able to take a closer look at the work later that night and my feet honestly looked terrible - like I hadn't even had a pedicure (see pics) - and the polish did not dry at all (either slipped right off in sections or smudged.) Obviously disappointing, so I called the next day and they told me the same technician would fix it when I came in (PS I don't want the same technician who messed it up to do it again.) I asked what else they could do if I couldn't make it in again this week and they said they couldn't see proof so they would give me 10% off my next service. I said I could send photos to prove it and they countered with 20% off next visit. I have no confidence at this point that the service would be any different, so I said there wouldn't be a next service and we left it there. Based on the work done, I would expect a full refund. I'm going to have to remove it and get it done again anyway."
