"Very disappointed! I went there today to get a hair cut…. Won’t come back anymore… The guy did a horrible job, honestly he spend no more than 5 minutes doing the job, did not bother to ask if a was satisfied, did not brush my hair or applied anything on it, did not trim around, or even let me look at the mirror. He was working backwards… the worst, you can see the bad cuts all over my head…. I do not recommend this place…."
"I came in yesterday 01/29/2024, to get a hair cut. My stylist was Quincy. When speaking to Quincy I informed him that was skeptical on getting a haircut fearing that all my hair be cut off. I then proceeded to ask him if he was comfortable adding layers into my hair, to which he replied that he was. The picture shown is what I left with. My hair was wet when i left the establishment not noticing the butchery until i arrived home. The public goes into these establishments trying to trust the stylist and that they do a good job. Hair is a crucial aspect of personal identity, and for a licensed professional to strip that away from an individual is unacceptable. Expressing distrust in getting a haircut and having a professional betray that trust is indescribable. I feel that if someone is hired to cut the hair of the public then they should know how. He has cut soo much of my hair unevenly that I now have to have it fixed by someone else and I really do not know if this can even be fixed more than likely I will now have to have it cut really short. Words cannot explain my feelings and disappointment. I will never be going to this or any other great clips establishment. I just wanted to let the public know that if you do go into this establishment avoid Quincy."
"My wife and I took our son to get his hair cut. I'm not sure if the stylist did not care, was in a hurry, did not know how to cut the style my son wanted, or just plain ignored us because the super short haircut she gave him looks absolutely nothing like what he wanted and he was very upset about it. He is in junior high and hairstyles, clothes, etc. matter so much to kids at this age. My son has wavy hair and the style he wanted was basically a medium length shag on top, slightly longer bangs, and shorter around the sides and bottom. My son and I even showed the stylist a picture on his phone of the hairstyle. She glanced at it very quickly and just asked "0,1, or 2.5 on the sides and back?" We told her 2.5. She then asked "How much off the top?" Since my son's hair wasn't super long and he wanted a shag look, he told her only a trim- take off only about a half inch or less. Then she just asked "squared off or rounded neckline?" I told her to square it off. The haircut she gave my son was more like a short Caesar cut. His bangs were cut to less than an inch and the rest of his hair on top was left at about an inch. It is a far cry from the shag style he wanted. He was visibly upset after she finished and grabbed his hoody and put the hood on, cinching the hood around his head. If this was a matter of the stylist not knowing how to cut the hairstyle, then she should have been honest and just said she didn't know how to do it rather than pretend and MAJORLY screw it up. Hair grows back, but it also gives us confidence when it looks good and it's the style we want. Though my son's haircut itself is not ugly, it's not what he likes and he feels ugly which drops his confidence. Never going back to this Great Clips location again."
"Had a coupon and went to a different location than my normal Great Clips, as I close to this location. My regular stylist knew my style (been seeing her for four years) so I explained, I wanted covered ears. The stylist understood it to mean "cut out my ears". Unfortunately, it was a communication error and luckily it is "just hair" and will grow out in a couple months, but will definitely be returning to my regular stylist for my perfect cut."
