"My sister recently got her locs done by the mother and daughter duo. It was time to have them retwisted and the stylist advised that what these ladies did on my sisters hair was not sister locs. The lines are not straight, there’s no grid at all in the back of her head. She said in the front a grid was done but stops in the back. You can also see that they had locs 3x the size of the other locs specifically in the back of my sisters head. Some are two locs tied in together. It was literally done correctly in the front and then purposely done incorrectly where she obviously couldn’t see. My sister has reached out to both of them with pictures just asking for an explanation. They’ve ignored her and have also rejected her refund request. Why? No explanation for YOUR salons work but you’ve responded to that refund request. Sad. This business is why good black people turn away from black businesses because we’re so comfortable scamming our own. This won’t end here we will absolutely take every legal avenue we have to get answers for bad business practice. God Bless!"

"I will write a review about KC hair studio on Mason road, in Katy ,Texas. I called the salon to make a appointment I first asked do you all color Afro ( Black people) hair, I was told yes,.... So!OK I'm all excited thinking "yes" I got myself a hair appointment for the next day, that's wonderful. I went in for a consultation, KC wanted to charge me $650 dollars to color my hair. He continually bargain with me... $650 was his final price, the price before was 850 he bargained with me, to color my hair for..... the low low price of..... that's right!!! $650....$650 SIX- HUNDRED& FIFTY DOLLARS . I said sure let me go get a loan for this. I'll be right back of course I never returned because the price was just Ridiculous . I'm not Going to doubt His skills on whether he can do hair. I'm sure if that's his prices that will be one hick of a hairdo a lifetime. I don't know if KC knows how to do my kind of hair. That was just...(My) experience"
