"My go to salon, always happy and relaxed after going to first boutique! Best service."
"The good: They made accommodations for my friend and I when we came late that day, as they were going to close soon before we arrived. We came in for a walk in pedicure. The pedicure itself was well preformed, and we didn't wait long. Their practice seems somewhat sanitary, excluding a few MAJOR things. My tech worked hard to remove my ingrown toe nails despite my reactions to pain, which was a great relief. Overall satisfied with the way my nails look. The bad: As soon as we walked in to pick our color, we were being bombarded by this one woman who was trying to confuse us into accepting an expensive nail treatment- when all we wanted was gel polish, which we kept telling her. I chose a color and she told me it was arcrylic only. I kept asking about that specific color in a polish instead, and she admitted it was only polish, not arcrylic like she tried to upsell me on. Upon sitting down in the massage chair after choosing my color, they handed me a menu... it felt grimy and sticky. I called earlier and asked for pedicure prices, to which they must have given me the manicure prices on the phone, doubling the quote me was given once I was there. To be honest, paying 40$ for a basic pedicure with paraffin wax was pretty steep for me. I normally pay the same at other nail salons - which includes a 15 min hot stone massage and exfoliation for that price. The massage they offered us felt very rushed and surface level. While I watched everyone else get 30 minuite shoulder rubs, I got a 5 minute aggressive rub in on my lotion. My feet were not massaged, nor was my calf muscle. Just mainly rubbing the sides of my legs. I suffer from chronic pain and do a lot of standing and physical labor from my job, so this service is one of the most important parts of my pedicure being that I can't afford to come more often than once a month. They just finished our pedicure and gave us the minimum drying time to pay and leave. I can understand being that all the other customers were on their way out too. I paid and they gave us the little foam slippers to walk to our car in since I didn't feel comfortable slipping on my heels quite yet. Here is where it gets really weird. This is possibly the weirdest thing I've encountered in all my years of getting pedicures. As soon as I stood from my chair and my friend and I started making our way to the door, the bombarding lady came over and started ushering us to be extremely careful and trying to guide us to the door. I assured her we were just fine and was making a point to walk very carefully. As soon as we stepped out the door, two women came out and firmly grabbed my friend and I by our arms and led us to my car, which was parked right in front of the door. I can understand being that it just rained and the shoes can be a hazard to walk in. But it felt like they were handling me like a frail elderly woman that would shatter a hip on the pavement. Once in my car, the bombarding lady leaned in to my car and grabbed my slippers off my feet, explaining it's better to drive barefoot. Weird as hell, but okay. The reason why I wrote this is because they proceeded to also remove the slippers from my friend who was sitting passenger. That doesn't make any damn sense unless they are reposessing those 10 cent slippers to give to another customer and were only making such a deal so we didn't get them scuffed or wet. Very unsanitary and left me feeling confused and shocked- even giving them the benefit of the doubt."
"I usually get my nails done closer to home but visited recently with some friends to get our nails done for a wedding..I got dip on my nails (on a Sunday) and by Wednesday, 5 of my nails were chipped or broken off. When I went to my local place to get them fixed my technician said it looked like there was no base coat applied for the dip to adhere to and they used one or two layers of color rather than the manufacturer recommended 3 layers. The neck massage and pedicure was fine but Iβm so disappointed in my manicure and the quality of work. They were also very pushy about add-ons so I ended up paying more than I wanted for work that does not feel worth it."
"Came here while waiting to get a prescription filled at the Walgreens next door and it was an excellent experience! Nails were done by Jack with incredible precision and attention to detail. They have gotten so many compliments. :)"
