"5 stars all the way!!! My good friend recommended Tamika at The Look Salon back in Nov ‘23. I was in desperate need of a color correction after a botched color job that turned what was supposed to be highlights into my hair turning all together strawberry blond. Tamika impressed me immediately with her knowledge of hair, her professionalism and overall technique. She saved my birthday by reverting the color back to what it was before and a month later went on to complete what I initially attempted to get. Unbeknownst to me at the time, what I wanted was balayage. My hair was gorgeously colored and more importantly healthy. I highly recommend her salon. All of her stylists are skilled to deliver and you won’t be disappointed. I’m elated every time I look at my hair now. Thanks again Tamika."

"I gave this place a good review but after looking at my bank statements it gave me a different perspective of the employees at this place. My daughter went in for a silk press the first stylist that done it was Kelsey my baby hair was worse after leaving there I don't no what she did to my baby hair. My daughter has had silk presses before and they have never looked like that ill post the pictures after. So I called and spoke with the owner and she told me to bring her back at 4pm got there waited 3 hrs before my daughter got in a chair. Lala we loved her she fixed my baby hair and her silk press is still holding up. I look at my bank statement my daughter hair was 110.00 my bank statement said 126.50 so I called up there and explained to them over the phone the charge a lady told me that the customer picks the tip. So after talking to my niece and my daughter which is 13 my daughter swiped my card and turned the tablet back around to the employee. Yes yall have it right the employee her self added a 16.50 tip herself without even asking. Sorry Lala that you have to loose a loyal customer due to Kelsey your coworker being a thief. According to my daughter she never said anything about a tip. So for someone to even think that they service is worthy of a tip atleast you could have done a decent job. Taking advantage of a 13 yr old is wrong and then thinking you wouldn't be caught is just as bad. Kelsey you no exactly what you did after my daughter swiped my card and turned that tablet back around to you you then added that 16.50 yourself with no receipt. And here is how my baby came home. SMH I will not step another foot in that salon as long as Kelsey is working there will be taking my business else were. Once again thank you lala for fixing my baby hair and we hate that we have to loose you as stylist but my daughter will not he taken advantage of because of her age she is a very smart and intelligent kid and I no my daughter knows better to tip someone for the service she got that wasn't grade A the quality was poor and so was that women service. Try another kid Kelsey my daughter is only 13 but she far from stupid me and my husband is raising her well so get somebody else to fool. You owe my daughter an apology and 16.50 for letting her leave that salon looking like that and taking money that wasn't yours to take."

"I went in for a silk press and Taylor did an amazing job! I truly can’t express how much I loved her work! My hair turned out beautifully and lasted for weeks! Taylor is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair! She explained the whole process on what step she was doing and why certain things needed to be done and gave tips on aftercare for when I got home. She truly cared about keeping the integrity of my hair! I didn’t feel rushed out my seat like other salons in my past experiences! Very personable and kindhearted will be coming back for Taylor you officially have yourself a new client!"
