"It was all right. Not great, not bad, not spectacular. It was quick, I'll give them that. Cute set-up in the actual salon. I like that there is a little playground in the waiting room. Not very great for our daughter's (4F) first haircut. Gladys (I think that's her name because that's who we were booked with, but the barber never introduced herself) gave her the cut. I asked for "side bangs," but she gave her an awful, 90's-esque, bob bangs. We paid for the "baby's first haircut" package. Didn't really know what we paid the $35 for. After we tipped our barber, that's when she realized we paid for the "first haircut" package, had to bring our daughter back to the chair, took her picture, then had to wait 5 minutes for the "first haircut" certificate to print out. It was weird. But whatever, our daughter was satisfied. My only suggestion is try to make it more spectacular for a kid's salon? A lot of kids were coming today for their first cuts, and their experience was subpar."
"If your child has any special needs, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. My son is 3 and is in the Autism spectrum. My son goes to Action Behavior Centers and they recommended this place. When I made the appointment online, I added a note letting them know my son is autistic. I arrived to the appointment and the place was empty. I was told Sophie will be his hairdresser. My son started crying as soon as I sat him in the chair. He didn’t want to get the cape on and Sophie proceeds to throw the cape in her station. I noticed so I told her (in a nice way and u had Abby there to confirm what I’m saying) that my son is autistic so you need a little patience. Well, Sophie had the nerve to say “that’s not my problem”. I don’t think I need to say how I reacted, right?! I said did you just say “that’s not my problem?!”; I continue telling her that the reason I’m telling her this is bc my son has special needs and he won’t sit calmly like another kid; which she replies: that doesn’t matter! I lost it! My son has had lots of haircuts and we have never been treated this way!! I immediately asked for someone else and Rose came to the rescue! She cut my son’s hair while trying to calm him down in a loving way. I know not everyone knows how to handle a special needs kiddo, which is why I let them know before I arrived, but there’s no need to be disrespectful!!! If you can’t work or don’t like working with kids, then don’t do it!"
"I booked a 5:30 appointment for my daughter to get a haircut and donate her hair to wigs for kids. When I booked the appointment I expressed concerned that my daughter's hair seems to get greasy really quickly even though she shampoos daily -she's in swim and dance. The lady on the phone suggested I try a clarifying shampoo and that we could even try it when they washed her hair during her appointment. When I arrived today (2/23) the hair dresser told me she did not have time to wash my daughter's hair because she had an appointment in 15 mins and they closed at 6. I'm upset as my daughter was already in the chair and when I booked the appointment no one told me we needed more time if we wanted a shampoo. I specifically booked asking for a shampoo service. I drove 30 minutes to this location. Another team member, Maggi, was extremely rude and unprofessional. She jumped in our conversation. I don't appreciate her implying my daughter's hair being dirty nor her argumentive tone. She stated this location closed at 6 and didn't have time to do it however, their sign cleary states they close at 7. Very unprofessional, I would never take my 4 children back. I recommend going to another hair salon that is more organized and offers better customer service."
"First scissors haircut for my curly 4 year old son and Sophie was super patient and sweet. Rosa always Cuts my autistic son’s hair and she is so sweet and understanding without even knowing. He asks her the same question 20 times, and every single time, she answers him like he never asked before. Love her!!! Thank you ladies! ❤️ I drive from Kingwood and will continue to do so!"
"Rose was wonderful with my son's first haircut, inquired with me about his cut in progress, and made him look handsome with a short hairdo. The staff was courteous and patient with my three sons in attendance."
