"I had an appointment for a cut and color. The cost was outrageous but it's my own fault for waiting until the last minute so I figured I had no choice. The location was local for me so I was willing to give it a try although there were several poor reviews from clients regarding their experiences. I arrived on time for my appointment. After a couple minutes a gentleman came to see what I needed and said he'd be right with me. There were already 2 other ladies in chairs with hair processing and a third that he was working on. She had several issues regarding both the cut and her color and the gentleman just suggested he continue to dry it and see if she felt any better or was going to have to further fix it..... Ok I stayed for about 10 minutes of that. Then googled Great Clips on my phone and proceeded to go there. There was no way I was letting this guy touch my hair. I encourage you to check more reviews. This is not a Salon with staff. They only rent out the chairs to whoever can pay. And when they get a poor review they blame it on the renter, and ask to be reviewed separately. Well who is allowing the poor stylists in? THE SALON. So, sorry but yes the stylist may be garbage, but in the consumer world Salon Cypress, "hired" them. I am super pleased with my cut by the way. Glad I saved $155 and 3 months of tears."

"I rolled the dice on Salon Cypress as I am new to town and was googling and calling salons in my area to set an appointment for my out grown new Mom hair which needed a makeover BAD. I was instantly sold on Salon Cypress when I called to inquire and they informed me an all over color also included a blow dry and style for $90! Everywhere else I called has separate prices for each service that seemed endless. I arrived and was greeted by Haley who was my stylist. Haley was super sweet, confident and knowledgeable. I was a little apprehensive as Haley is a younger stylist but she knew exactly what I wanted when describing my color and hit it out of the park with coloring and styling my hair. My service was also speedy in the sense that I was not shuffled between other clients which can sometimes make a simple salon visit take hours. Having a baby at home to get back to this was a definite plus for me. I left Salon Cypress feeling SO GOOD! I’ll definitely be back with Haley and saying GOODBYE to my boxed hair dye for good. 5 stars :)"

"I’ve had bad hair cut experiences at other places. I decided to come here to cut my curly hair in August. Haley was the one who worked on my hair. She did an amazing job and gave me what I wanted. I came back yesterday to get another hair cut by Haley.I was so happy with the way my hair came out! If you’re looking for someone to cut your hair, I definitely recommend booking with Haley. She has great energy and is so kind!!"

"Haley saved me! I totally screwed my hair up doing it at home and she made it EXACTLY how I wanted it! She corrected the color and made it look more natural, which is what I wanted. The receptionist was so sweet too which is worth 5 stars on its own. Side note, Haley is Deva Cut certified! I can’t wait to bring my curly haired daughter on to get a curly cut. "I was gonna let it pass but the more I look at my hair, the more I get angry. I got Asian hair and wanted to get it platinum Balayage. He told me we will get as light as we can and bleached twice. Toned it twice. The whole time my chair was turned away from the mirror. After 5 hrs of process, I looked at the mirror my hair has patches of blueish grey. As I was asking for next session to get it right, he mentioned I should get Keratin treatment. I looked through the hair and saw randomly chopped hair. I asked if he cut it, he said " oh. No no" I'm like "I see its shorter than the rest. You overdone it and cut it right?" He said "I just trimmed it". I'm getting upset and look in the back while he tries to brush off and hide it, and I see short, hair. Randomly chopped in the back of my hair. I asked him again "did you cut it??????" Again he lied, "o no. I didn't! It was like that" BullS*%^!!! I WALKED IN WITH MY HAIR IN A BUN. now if I put my hair up, the back hair falls out and the whole colored part is cut off. It's just a random dark hair unlike the rest of bleached hair. If he was honest about it and admitted that he messed it up and gave me a right hair cut I would not have walked out upset. But he lied and tried to cover up the mess he made and now I have freaking randomly chopped hair, I don't think he should be doing anybody's hair. It's about honesty."
