"Update, same day: I kept staring at the horrible paint job on nails & thinking about the money I spent. I went back to show them. They graciously offered to repaint. Initially, they were going to paint over but that doesn't cover up a bad paint job. We started over, removed all the polish, repainted, now they look great. Previous facts: 1 sour apple ruins a whole bunch. Originally 2 stars given b/c 1 person ruined my whole experience. *The only person's opinion who matters about MY experience is mine.* Fingernails look horrible & I was harrassed throughout. It looks like a 3 yr old painted my nails. She knows who she is, the other employees know too. I've never liked her when I've gone there before. She's is rough, gruff, ill mannered. Unfortunately, this time they got her to finish my nails. Everything was going great before I got stuck w/ her. She sees a mistake on right pinky finger. She wipes the polish off w/ a terry towel. She doesn't put base on again, just color. I didn't say anything. Later, I noticed that nail looked lighter than the other fingers. I ask, will you put 1 more coat? She starts to argue, "I did." I think, why would I lie? It doesn't, matter it's my money, my fingers. What's the problem? I repeat myself. She argued. By the way this was after she ruined the left pinky when she moved my hand too close to the towel. I showed her, she said WHAT DID YOU DO? I said my nail touched the towel. I could have said YOU RUBBED my finger against the towel. The truth. I didn't. My eyes work just fine. I was watching everything she was doing. If she thought brushing over a fingernail twice w/o getting more polish on the brush is a 2nd coat SHE IS WRONG. I could see my natural nail color underneath. I had to beg her after saying, I'm not fighting w/ you. Then she starts ACTING like she is trying to be nice but makes it worse b/c it is fake. She goes overboard in a sarcastic tone. "You pay, you're the customer, you're right. Right? You're the BOSS, right? Right?" She is making a scene. One of the reasons I like to get my nails done is b/c I want to relax. She ruined the whole visit. I was perfectly content before her. She kept forcing herself on me demanding a reply. I said, can I just please let these dry? Her: "oh yeah yeah I just want to make sure it's okay if I leave if you're okay blah blah." She wouldn't stop. I didn't ask you for anything else I'm literally turning away from you. Read my body language. Any human being w/ a non psychopathic brain will comprehend what turning away from you means. When I go to leave I hear someone say "ma'am" right by me I look, she is almost blocking my very narrow path to leave. She asked if I want my shoes in a bag (?). All I can think is I Don't WANT anything From you leave me alone. I said, no.I don't like people who force themselves on others. It's uncomfortable & socially unacceptable. Then she is staring at me in a very creepy way as I walk out. The other ladies seem to be wondering what is going on. Me too. l say what is she staring at? Then I said I Don't like Her & I left. She shouldn't get any portion of the tip. This is a great shop but I never want her near me again. NOW I know to ask for the ORIGINAL person to finish EVERYTHING. Otherwise my payment especially tip should be returned. Early on during manicure she was in the seat next to my manicurist. I was asking questions about dip...the customer was answering my gal was answering & the crazy 1 was answering. It was a casual conversation back-and-forth. I wanted to learn more. Then she, The Ruiner, asked "WHY aren't YOU getting dip?" It's none of your business. When you start paying for every service I get then you can pick what I get. Companies need to know customers do not care how your employees behave with you, unless they witness abuse. Of course they're nice to boss & co-workers. What also matters is how they behave w/ customers. Don't tell me they're "nice". If they're nice to 10 customers & rude or inappropriate to 1, that's a problem. I spent too much time trying to get a mani/pedi. I'm exhausted."
"I absolutely LOVE My Nails! I always have a great experience - Everyone is super friendly and kind…plus my nails always look fabulous. It’s a small salon and they can get a little busy, so I always call ahead and schedule an appointment. My favorite things? Their dog (she is DARLING, well behaved, and always brings a smile to my face) and the videos they play on their tv - they are always super cute and calming."
"I’ve never left a review for a business before. But I must warn everyone! We are on vaca. Brought my daughters for pedicures for all of us. This dog stood in the window loudly barking at anyone who walked by. I kindly asked if the dog could go in the back because one of my daughters has epilepsy and loud repetitive noise like that barking could trigger her. THEY TOLD ME NO!!! We already had our feat in water but I said we are leaving. And left immediately. To have no care or concern over a clients medical concerns is absolutely mind blowing to me."
"Although the man was very nice, almost all of the nails on my left hand are crooked. The white tip he applied on several nails are crooked and noticeable. There's a bunch of acrylic balled up under my nails. For $60 I'm disappointed. I didn't have the heart to tell him I was unhappy."
"I used to come here every 3/4 weeks for manicure and pedicure. But I just came for my birthday/engagement to get my nails filled and had the worst experience. The man that did my fill didn’t prep my nails/cuticles, gouged my natural nail and kept hitting me with the drill. My nails were thick, uneven and not the design I wanted, some of them didn’t even reach all the way to the end of my nail. So I went back the next day to have them redone, only to be assigned to him again. He didn’t fill the nails with gaps, filled them down without prepping my cuticles again, cut almost every single finger with the drill and shredded the skin around my fingers. I wanted a sheer thin gel paint and not the design because I knew he couldn’t do it. He added 6 coats of gel polish even though I told him I liked the sheer color, he said it was better with more coats and kept going. They are once again way to thick, and not the right color. He didn’t give me cuticle oil for my torn up hands, just sprayed them with alcohol and told me to go. I am so very disappointed and almost cried leaving. My hands hurt and aren’t what I wanted after 2 consecutive trips. (Pictures: what i wanted, day 1 and day 2)"
