"If you are looking for authentic Salvadoran food in Katy please do yourself a favor and visit Migilis they also have a great selection of baked goods. I have been dining here for over 2 years and I have never been dissatisfied. The revuelta papusa and fried plantain with beans and cream are my favorite!"
"I was introduced to this food by a former employee of mine. I was hooked from the start. I eat it whenever I can. The pupusa is really good. I can't pronounce everything but it's all been good. It's handy to speak Spanish but not necessary. It's not a 5 star restaurant, it's a small home cooked meal style place. Don't forget the Horchetta..its a rice with cinnamon drink. It's worth the stop..and they have bread too. Cheap prices as well.."
"I used to come here all the time during winter last year and left happy, I don't know what had changed but there's this bad attitude coming from the workers now that I order inside. I'm already accustomed to the half hour wait for just a few pupusas and don't mind because they are very good, but I do not appreciate how little they care to be polite especially to a customer they know is trying their hardest to order in Spanish to accommodate them. It seems everything we ask of them is an inconvenience as well. I dined in recently with my boyfriend and he politely asked for condiments to which the lady mutely took her time to help him. Each time I come it progressively gets worse, so to save myself disappointment I will not return. Pleasure doing business when it used to be a nice experience."
"My family and I have been going here for 15 years. We are Salvadoran and and know what authentic Salvadoran food is. I definitely would recommend this place for anyone that is wanting to try authentic Salvadoran food. Food is great, price is reasonable, and staff is friendly. I would say that the wait time is always long, but if you know anything about Salvadoran food, it’s always fresh and that’s why it takes a bit longer to make. I would highly recommend!"
"Great food!! Great service!! Reasonable prices! They made us a fresh jug of horchata for us! All around a great authentic dining experience."
