"Had an amazing time at Curriqui. We’ve been several times but this would definitely recommend this restaurant. We had amazing service from Jo. She took give a detailed and fun explanation of the menu and restaurants roots. Additionally she was an exceptional server. The atmosphere here is pretty the restaurant is in a historic building. For food recommendation the brisket and barbacoa. Would try Fajitas last. The margaritas are strong and delicious."

"What a very cool spot. As an architect I can tell this is a unique environment with all kinds of seating areas and options. The place was recommended to me by a local resident and it did not disappoint. I arrived via a ride share so I can't speak to parking issues which is often a small portion of my reviews. Our small group of 3 selected one of the many outdoor seating options and I must admit that I only walked through one of the buildings upon arrival. Not much more to offer but the staff was great. The food was hot and arrived at an appropriate interval and though on the expensive side it was all a very exceptional deal. I plan on going back which is one of the best options I can offer."

"We were looking for somewhere to get out of the rain, and were lured in by the delicious smell of the smoker. The interior was warm and welcoming, with a well stocked bar and comfortable areas to sit. It was full, but the hostess put our group in a private room and suggested several starters and drinks. The service was excellent, with personal touches and a lot of laughter. When one of the waitstaff saw how much we enjoyed the smoked pecans she snuck us an extra cupful. Since it was my first time in San Antonio, I was curious about the smokehouse and the chef, Jaime, immediately took us out for a tour, showing us how the briskets, chicken, and other meats were smoked in-house. We sampled about half of the menu as well as the drinks and did not find one single item lacking in flavor or character. The dishes are unique, well seasoned, exceptionally fresh and prepared with flair. Would absolutely return here whenever we are in San Antonio."
