"Discovering this hidden gem in San Antonio was a delight! The Moroccan restaurant, owned by three talented ladies, captivates with its vibrant ambiance and intricate patterns that transport diners straight to Morocco. From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in the Moroccan culinary artistry. Impeccable service enhances the authenticity of the menu, where each dish tells a flavorful tale of spices and tradition. The aromatic tagines, couscous, pastilla and delicate pastries showcase the chef's commitment to quality ingredients. This restaurant is a standout destination for an exquisite Moroccan dining experience, a testament to the passion and skill of these three remarkable owners. Thank you so much ladies for bringing Morocco to us. Will be back soon!!!"
"I drove for 5 hours from Dallas just to show my friend how good is moroccan food. The lady that served us was the sweetest. I am a moroccan so I know how moroccan food tastes and this is the only place in Texas that serves authentic moroccan food. The mint tea at the end made me feel like I was in Marrakesh. Amazing job!"
"Hello I am sorry, as a Moroccan living in the states when you want to eat Moroccan food with your family especially with your father and mother, coming from another city to San Antonio , after hearing that’s there is a Moroccan restaurant had a good reputation than you been surprised in the end. the daughters working with there mom .which there are Moroccan origins. They been really unprofessional there is no welcoming and even frowning the customer service is 0 zero , which made me wonder how they runs this store, there is no professionalism ,bad altitude. I should understand when I walk to the dine in room and it’s lunch time was 0 customer on Sunday I should leave .The strange thing is that I may have entered the store at an inappropriate time. As a Moroccan, I can understand what is going on inside through the behavior, but I do not care as much as I should be treated as a customer, not as a Moroccan. On the other hand, I asked the waitress for some hot sauce than I been surprise in the end that she charged me $1.99 for 2 spoons of hot sauce really I feel so bad for them this is not how you run a business hold on the worst thing they already they put tips for them self 10% for what bad altitude or for bad customer service tips for people deserve it with a smiley face good customer service. In the end I wish I can give them 0 star my tip to everyone avoid this place"
"What an experience! We had never had Moroccan food before so we started off with the hummus. The preparation of it is so unique and delicious in comparison to hummus from other countries. The chicken tagine with olives and french fries was scrumptious. The chicken was the moistest we have ever had. There are also vegetarian food options. Rounding our dinner out with the baklavas was a perfect compliment to the dinner. We can’t wait to go back and try more food and learn more from these wonderful ladies."
"This place right here offered such a great experience. There are sisters who own this place and they still run it like they just opened. They greet you and if you have questions about the menu she will go through the history of the dish and flavors. We have never had moraccon food but they set a pretty high standard. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and along with a great waitstaff I will definitely come back. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we ordered chicken pastilla, chicken kabob, madghout and chicken tagine. Chicken pastilla takes 45 minutes to make so we ordered other food to try it after. There's an appreciation for them to make an item by hand. The Madghout is a lamb shank that's made with 7 seasonings and marinated for hours. It was tender, full of flavor and filling. I enjoyed the rice and the mint tea. If you want a drink I highly recommend the mint tea. It's hot but the mint makes it refreshing and honestly very enjoyable. Try this place out. The chicken was flavorful and so delicious. Also have a conversation with the sisters they can give you so much history of moraccon food like the chicken pastilla that's typically made for really special events and is not eaten every day. It's typically made for high standing people so it was an honor to try it and experience such a major food. Overall loved the food and the staff."
