"They have always done a great job with my horse trailers. I trust their work and their suggestions for repairs! They also came quickly when I had a show to get too in a week!"
"We arrived at Sky Park RV resort in Liberty Hill on Friday. While leveling my 5th wheel, I noticed that the two wheels on the right side were too close together. Upon inspection, I noticed that the shackle that connects the rear leaf spring to the Equa Flex suspension component had come loose. I had heard about K & S from a camp host at Pedernales Falls last year so I called them. They got back to me quickly and Scott was at my campsite about an hour later. He lifted the trailer and made the repair in about 45 minutes. Prompt service, good guy, professional work. What else you want? They saved us a lot of aggravation. I would use again and I highly recommend them."
"Needed a dual receiver custom hitch created for my 5th wheel trailer so that we could occassionally pull an extension trailer for our Harley Davidson MC. The existing hitch was only rated for a bike rack. Kevin came out to the house, removed the accessory hitch from the trailer and built it up to carry the load while leaving a center receiver for those times we only wanted to take our bicycles. Then he welded it all back into place. We took it for a couple of test rides and everything worked out great. We're very pleased with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone who needs something created from scratch."
"I found K&S on a google search after being turned off by a couple of the bigger trailer manufacturers in the area. I read their reviews and contacted Steven through his website. I sent him an email with some pictures and details about the work I needed done to my smoker. He got back to me a couple hours later and said that they could take care of me. We had a phone conversation about scheduling, I sent him my info in a text and we set a date for the work to be done. It was a little tough to nail down a date due to weather and my work schedule, but we made it work. On the day of, Kevin (Pro Welder) shows up, inspected the work to be done and due to the type of work involved needed a bigger welder/torch rig to properly get the job done. I appreciated his honesty. We rescheduled for the next week. Day of, Kevin arrives, and gets to work! I checked in on him a few times while he was working and he always asked my opinion and if I liked how it was coming along. Kevin eventually wound up exceeding my expectations by reconstructing the part that I needed replaced rather than just covering it up like I originally thought I wanted. Toward the end of the job, it started raining pretty good, but he was so close to finishing he just kept at it until he was finished. I couldn’t be more pleased with the final results! Kevin also added a 1’ extension to the smoke stack, replaced the old damper with a better more rain blocking one, and added a custom cut license plate bracket. I would definitely recommend these guys for trailer/custom smoker repairs!"
"I recently bought a worn down trailer and wasn't sure where to turn with the repairs. It needed some patchwork on failing welds, decking, brakes, hubs, bearings, paint, a new coupler. I was stuck between doing it myself or paying someone to fix the issues. After reaching out to a number of local shops I was lucky enough to stumble upon K&S and I'm glad I did. Their work is top notch and I couldn't be happier with the results. The trailer looks brand new and they stepped in on the things that I needed help with (welding, striping and painting, guidance on new brakes, etc.) They were very patient with my questions and the price was very reasonable for the quality work that they provided. I ended up with a great trailer for less than a new one and have confidence that it'll be on the road for years to come. I won't hesitate to use them again and will recommend them to friends and family."
