"Front office staff responsive, professional! Assistants are kind, knowledgeable and highly skilled! Dentist competent and qualified. There is a tv in the waiting area and on the ceiling above each “chair” in the patient care zone. Grateful for this office. If possible would prefer that the children were addressed directly regarding hygiene. If they would attempt to teach and reinforce this with my children - both the assistant and the dentist - that would be helpful. They could simply model and discuss regular brushing and flossing. Also the chairs are flat - like a board, they do not recline. There are no pillows provided although they will supply a blanket if requested"
"I recommend finding a different business for your children’s dentistry needs. If you choose to use Lone Star, avoid the Dripping Springs and Slaughter locations at all cost. When we moved to Dripping, we took our boys for an appointment at the DS location. The dentistry was acceptable but the front desk customer service was terrible. I attempted to call a couple weeks later during their normal business hours to schedule follow up procedure, but no one answered the phone. I left messages but received no call back. A few days later, I called again and, again, no answer. I then stopped by that location, same day, during business hours and found the doors were locked and the office staff were sitting at the desks. The lady came to the door and stated they were closed because the dentist was absent that day… stated I should have been notified that my appointment was cancelled. I told her I had been calling to schedule appointments but no one is answering phones or returning calls. She simply stated “Because we are closed.” I asked if they are unable to schedule appointments and do all other business operations when the dentist was away? I could immediately tell she knew she was caught sitting down on the job. She told me to come in and we’d schedule appointments, which we did schedule at the slaughter locations. The situation only gets worse from there. Three weeks later, after I received a text message Sunday night confirming our Monday appointments, and after I took off work and pulled my two kids out of school, I arrived at the slaughter location only to be told they didn’t have a dentist that day that took our insurance. To the owners: Need to get your office staff in check. To potential customers: Look at other options."
"If I could give no starts I would. Dental office doesn't do there job and never got pre authorization from our insurance agency for major dental work that our child needed. Was told that someone would contact me after insurance authorization was approved, 3 weeks go by, and no one contacted me. I contact the dentist office because our child is not in pain when he eats and no one has done anything! I asked who's responsibility it was to get authorization and office staff stated it was there's. If they tell you they are going to do something better stay on them to get it done. Our first appointment was also horrible. This practice should let new patents know that they need to change doctors with the insurance company BEFORE the appointment. The appointment took twice as long because nothing was done ahead of time. Staff are over worked and things do not move smoothly. The actual doctor was great but the staff not so much! We will be going back to our old dentist since this practice cant seam to get it together and provide adequate care."
"Such a positive and even fun dental experience! Everyone was so helpful, kind and professional. And thank you for helping us sort out insurance changes with this new location!!"
"We had a follow up appointment for my daughter after dental surgery. She had spacers inserted and needed to have them removed due to teeth shifting. Lexi helped coordinate our care with the dentist and office manage to do the procedure same day and at a great reduced cost. We have seen a few pediatric dentists in the area for my daughter, but have stopped our search now that we found Lonestar. We are so appreciative of their consideration and care."
