"Adam Rutledge scammed my elderly, disabled parents out of their money and left them with an inoperable vehicle and caused $1,300 worth of damage to the engine. We called him to come out to remove a broken spark plug. Over the course of six hours he left repeatedly for long periods of time claiming he needed to go get tools. He took part of the engine apart in the process. When I called him he claimed he had been on other service calls. He demanded payment via Cash App, and said he would come back and be done with the job in about 20 minutes as soon as he was paid, but when he received payment, he showed up, appearing intoxicated, gathered his tools, left the loose vehicle parts on the ground, and left without finishing the work. He then stopped responding to texts and blocked my number from calling him. He did not respond to multiple voicemails and denied two requests for a refund through Cash App. This vehicle is a wheelchair van and is the only means my elderly mother has to get to her medical appointments, some of which had to be canceled due to this man's actions. He should be ashamed of himself for stealing money from the elderly and you should definitely find someone else to hire who is not a crook."
