I am not sure what has changed over the last few years but I don’t feel the value is there anymore. It’s like they followed other shops and decided to start over charging for everything. I think it’s time to go back to fixing my own cars again. Orielly part $130, Brock’s. $420. Sorry but I am not made of money."
"As always, Brocks Car Care, did a great job replacing gaskets and seals that needed to be replaced - rear main engine seal, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, and transmission seal. Also, checked suspension and replaced worn parts, then did front end alignment. All of this at a reasonable price. I have used Brocks for years and will continue."
"I highly recommend Brock’s to any and all with auto problems. My check engine light came on so I took it to OReilly to have it diagnosed. I took it to Brock’s where Gary was very welcoming and honest. He was first going to ensure that the repair was diagnosed properly (which it was), he gave me an estimate ($100 less than the first estimate), and told me that it would be completed by the end of the day. Gary came though with everything he’d told me, and I was able to pick it up that evening! What a great, solid experience!"
"According to consumer protection laws, shops are generally required to provide a written estimate if the anticipated cost exceeds a certain amount. Proceeding without my approval and failing to disclose the charges is legally questionable. Transparency and adherence to legal standards in pricing would significantly enhance the integrity of this establishment. My First and Final Visit to This Shop: My first encounter with this shop left much to be desired. Despite my initial request for a brake line repair and a clear agreement on a $30 diagnostic fee, communication was severely lacking. I was initially told by Dennis that I would receive a call regarding the diagnostic and cost for any needed repairs. I only received a text stating my car was ready without any prior discussion of the repair cost. I called the shop regarding my diagnostic to which Dennis responded by saying that he was going to call me, but he had already taken the vehicle apart and decided to just go ahead and repair the breaking system. To my surprise, I was slapped with an $89 bill upon pickup, leaving me feeling deceived. I asked Dennis where the 89$ amount come from, since no quote agreement was made. Dennis then stated, in person, that he thought the 89$ was not going to be an issue for me to pay which is why he never informed me of the amount. The amount of the repair is not my concern, rather the absence of transparent communication and professionalism."
