"We just couldn’t find this location with our GPS. Therefore, we called, and Gary helped us to get to the location. Once there the office was clean, great music and everyone seems to be kind. The surprise of the day is when we met an old friend Shiela who was actually our nurse. By the way, the service was great."

"This business is absolutely terrible. Last July, I took my elderly mother to this dentist to get partials. We paid $3k+ and from the outset the product needed two (2) adjustments. My mother lives out of town and fortunately we were able to have her partials adjusted before she left Houston, TX. Not too long after she returned home however, the partials literally began to disintegrate. Specifically, the faux gum portion began falling apart and the metal wires beneath and initially hidden in the faux gum began to poke through. My mother returned to Houston, TX with hopes of seeing the dentist and to bring these issues to his attention. Although we did not have an appointment or could make one in time before she left Houston, we hoped to have a short 5 minutes meeting with the dentist to provide notice of the issues and formulate a resolution plan. Unfortunately, customer service is woefully lacking at this facility and definitely NOT the staff’s or dentist’s strong-suit. Upon cogently explaining the issues to the front desk receptionist/office manager, she abrasively refused to render any help absent a booked appointment while stating the dentist is a “booked and busy doctor with patients”. All efforts to apply reason, courtesy, and professionalism to the matter were to no avail and she remained belligerent. At one point, she started to yell and made threatening gestures to myself and my elderly mother who was visibly upset and shaken by the situation. We felt so unsafe that we found it necessary to request police assistance. Notably, the dentist never sought to discern the cause of the commotion in his office or address it. Thankfully, two very professional policemen arrived and we were able to make a report. Needless to say we would neither return to this business nor recommend it to others. Lastly, we will seek legal recourse for the subpar product received. I strongly recommend that people do not patronize this business because their business practices are questionable. Further, there are many other reputable and professional dentists in Houston."

"Dr. Joe Eckford is fantastic dentist but most of all he does painless dentistry. To me Dr. Joe's painless denistry is above awsome. He doesn't talk much because he totally consentrates on his work. He works tirelessly to give a flawless product to me. Office is cleans all instruments are sealed & wrapped which makes me feel safe. His office staff is friendly, professional and definitely provide a positive atmosphere. On my visit today I got a big smile from him. This dentist goes above and beyond in the customer care department. When you choose Dr. E you will not be disappointed. Most importantly, he stands behind his work, provides excellent after service care, customer satisfaction and is attentative to patient concerns. Dr. Joe Eckford is a great dentist. Your Scarred patient who is outgrowing her dental fears. When I reach 100% Non- Fearful I will rate 5stars+. Thanks, DJ."
