"I was excited to finally find a black pediatric dentist for my so! I spoke with a receptionist after scheduling my son's first visit with this dentistry. She badgered me about getting more information for my son's insurance policy who is with his noncustodial parent. I provided the name, dob, ssn, zip code, and customer service number which a dentist used previously to find the information on 2 occasions with no problem but told me that wouldn't be enough and then proceeded to emphasize that the only person who could bring the child to the appointment is their birth parents or legal guardians. Like clearly I am his mom even though we have different last names and he's on his dad's insurance, why are you even saying that? Then she tells me since I went to the dentist earlier (I told her that info) that week she's going to ASSUME the dentist charged the insurance for that visit (which I told her 3 times he didn't perform any services) so they will be charging me out of pocket for this visit. Excuse me? So instead of doing your job and researching the insurance you decide to do what you want to do? That's bad business, Just cancel the whole appointment. I would not recommend!!!"
