"I honestly feel bad for even giving a low rating because the staff is very nice and friendly, but there’s no way I could leave a five star. When I contacted them, I had found a coupon code for discounted service. That’s a plus for me because I stay home and homeschool my children, a budget is necessary. Barbara was extremely sweet and welcoming over the phone. I had also found many other coupon codes for other places, BUT I liked the reviews for this place as well as the phone call so I decided to take the nearly hour drive anyway. I paid for exam, X-ray and cleaning but did not receive any cleaning at all. They suggested I needed a deep cleaning because I hadn’t been to the dentist since having 2 babies back to back. I AGREED with them although I did not agree with the price. I was, however, prepared and ready to pay the price negotiated for a payment plan with the office manager which also seemed nice while there but seemed she was more of a salesperson. Once she had sold me on the payment plan, I was then told that their equipment that suctions saliva/water from the patient, was not working and I would need to come back. They said they tried to get it back working but it wasn’t happening. That was beyond upsetting because I took time to drive an hour away based off reviews and how nice they were. Very disappointed and even a bit sad/angry that I didn’t get any type of cleaning in my mouth. I feel like I wasted my money. They offered to take a little money off my deep cleaning, but didn’t want to refund any of the money I paid for basically nothing :( don’t think I will go back as I’ve found someone to do my deep cleaning plus an extra service for much less than the price that was offered to me."

"This dental office by far hands down gets 10 stars from me no questions asked. The staff each and every one of them and the dentist herself all 10 Stars each. Barbara started off by greeting me and helping me over the phone. She initially is what made my mind up that Harwood dental while calling around was where I wanted to go. At my first appointment all of the staff was so kind and genuinely caring about my issues and concerns and it showed. They each and every one of them made me feel at ease about my situation and were helpful to make it possible for me to get done what i needed to and were more than happy to do so more than any dental office I've ever known. The dentist herself is absolutely amazing she is the best at what she dose, and even outside of that she was great with helping me with my anxiety she piece of cake no problem comforted me and was glad to do so. She is the best I had shots in extractions I was very very pleased. I will be continuing to be a patient at hardwood dental and transferring my son and telling everyone I know that they should go there as well. Thank you so much hardwood dental y'all are the best such a great group of people and so good at what you do. If you are reading this you will want to stop here this is your place you will have zero regrets!!!"
