"As someone who works in the medical field I was hesitant to leave a bad review but I am truly disappointed by the degree of miscommunication. I made an appointment months ago for a routine dental cleaning- during the initial phone call I requested insurance verification. The front office never got back to me until I reached out on the day of my appointment. They quoted about $240 for a regular cleaning and tried to tell me this is what patients typically pay at their office… I had to cancel the appointment due high copay and they hung up on me before I could even finish speaking. I contacted another dental office right after this interaction and it took them less than 5mins to get back to me with insurance verification and advise for problem solve. They told me my last dental cleaning has not been 6months yet so I’ll need to wait another month to be covered. Easy fix. I was really looking forward to be established as a regular patient with Dr. Ku but I was appalled by the differences in attitude and professionalism between the two practices. Yes patients are responsible for their own insurance/copay but I also believe all the other negative reviews could’ve been easily avoided."
