"I found a new and trustworthy shop. After being referred here by a couple of people I know, I reached out to the owner. I explained the issues with my vehicle, and Chris promptly told me to bring it over for inspection. Upon arriving later in the afternoon, he immediately began the inspection. He provided an estimate for the repairs and service, and I left my vehicle overnight. The next morning, I was contacted promptly, and my vehicle was ready to go, with all the issues resolved through his repairs. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly everything was handled. The out-the-door price for parts and labor was extremely fair. Additionally, Chris and his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful making the experience even more positive. This shop will be my go-to from now on, and I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends if they ever need a mechanic!"
"I want to start by saying that my review is strictly about the shop owner and not the mechanics from the shop. Christopher Hunt has probably one of the worst customer services I've ever seen. Took my vehicle in to get it looked at to see what was wrong with it. I had talked to him personally and had informed him to get a hold of me if they find the source of the problem. Like any other mechanic shop I've ever gone to, they tend to call to tell you the issue and give you an estimate on the price before they start working on your vehicle. This did not happen here. After waiting for most of the day I decided to give them a call to follow up. Upon calling Christopher had informed me that the car was all done followed by the price. I was taken back by this comment because I had never received a prior call with the issue the vehicle had nor the price. After getting off work and going there in person to see why this was the case, he was informed of our arrival and situation he was immediately noticeably heated and you could tell his lack of care and responded with aggression "what do I need to call you for". This spiral into a heated conversation where his lack of professionalism showed. Another thing to point out was the pricing for the labor. The issue itself was very minimal/easy to do once you know what it is. The price did not match the labor and he claimed he was doing us a favor by charging us for 2 hours instead of 4 that according to him it took him to do. Which if it indeed took him 4 hours to do he is either taking his time on purpose to charge more or he is just a bad mechanic. It doesn't take long to switch out that part and replace it. I ended up paying up since the job was done but definitely won't be taking it here again. Nothing against the mechanics themselves. This was him and his labor and his lack of professionalism and communication and transparency with his clients. If I would've been called with the issue and a quote like all other mechanic shops do there wouldn't have been an issue at all. Again this was something fairly simple to do and I would've saved a few hundred dollars by doing it myself. And it wouldn't have taken me that long to do. Mechanics themselves are good people so nothing against them at all. But this guy ruined it for me. Shame."
"Have purchased two cars from them (still have one of them) and had them recently work on one of my cars. Service is “A One”, returned to me like new (in less than 48 hours) and very honest. Even fixed some other things and didn’t charge me a penny for it. Chris and his team have been great to us for over 10 years."
"I picked up my car from this shop last week after it sat there for 10 months. A simple crankshaft replacement turned into a huge nightmare. They didn't send updates, didn't respond to texts, didn't answer or return calls. I moved to Fort Worth and every single time I had to travel 30 minutes there only to hear made up stories trying to explain why my car wasn't ready. Despite my knowledge of automotive matter they kept treating me like I knew nothing about cars and did their best to send me where I came from empty handed. Anger and frustration built up week after week only to hit against a wall of indifference. I decided to pick up the car and fix it myself, but once I did I realized that not only bolts and nuts were spreaded all around the engine bay (and I will never know where they came from) but also that personal items were taken out of the car like a pair of Bose earbuds for the value of over $300 and the key to the security lug nuts preventing me from removing the wheels. If course bringing that up didn't solve the problem, message viewed and never responded. On top of that, the diagnosis on the car indicated that the labor performed by this shop resulted in the engine timing being off, possibly bending the valves on one of the banks. These guys are friendly enough to get the job, but I believe they don't really know what they are doing. They might be ok for a quick oil change or brake job, but once the job gets a little more serious they just guess at the customer's expense. Do yourself a favor and choose carefully what shop will take care of your vehicle."
