"Michael always takes the time to listen to what I think is wrong with our car and then makes recommendations explaining in detail not only WHAT he recommends, but WHY. I feel like he is doing for our car what he would do for his own vehicle, always keeping in mind our safety on the road. Of course it may cost more than if I made repairs myself, but I make the decision to entrust a professional with my car and don't mind paying them for their ability and knowledge. Because so many times they see or catch things I would have missed and the repair later on would have cost so much more! Randy at the front desk is super nice and knowledgeable as well."
"Hands down best shop on town. Very knowledgeable techs that actually know how to diagnose and repair your vehicle. Highly recommended for all your automotive needs."
"I have been using Midas in cleburne for all my automotive repair needs since I moved here in 2015. The staff is always very professional and courteous. Very upfront about all repairs and charges, never seem to try and sell me things I don't need just to make an extra buck like some shops do. The manager is very direct and honest, which is what I expect from a professional shop,no beating around the bush. Wait times are usually very quick, but when things will take longer than expected they do accommodate by allowing for appointments. They have a very nice, clean waiting area with FREE coffee. Who doesn't like coffee while you wait. Pricing is reasonable, and management will also beat or price match other local shops if you can provide a written estimate from them. Will continue to use them for all of my automotive needs and HIGHLY recommend them to others."
"After looking through countless reviews, I'm finding a recurring theme, and it involves the current owner. I had a negative encounter with him years ago when his father still owned the business. Against my better judgment, I decided to give it another go; after all, people can have off days. What a mistake. I brought in my diesel truck for a state inspection, and he had the audacity to reject it, insisting the catalytic converter had been removed. I tried to educate him, explaining that this specific model (early 2000s Ford diesel) came from the factory this way. It never had a catalytic converter from day one. The VIN sticker even lists it as "non-catalytic". The owner pulls up a parts diagram online, and he reluctantly agreed I was right, muttering something about not being aware. So far, so good, right? Wrong. He then played the "private business" card, boldly declaring that he could turn away any vehicle at his whims. When I pressed him about his irrational reaction, he mumbled about risks, even though he had just confirmed my truck never had a catalytic converter to begin with. Apparently, he views refusing service as a divine right. Mr. Conover, after enduring two rounds of your special brand of unfavorable customer service, I'm officially waving the white flag. Congratulations, you have the right to refuse service, and I have the divine right to steer clear of establishments run by condescending and disrespectful so-called "professionals". Cheers to finding a place that values both vehicles and customer service– a concept clearly lost on Mr. Conover."
"My company takes our fleet vehicles here for maintenance. They do a good job. Helps if you call a day or two ahead and schedule an appointment for service rather than just show up as a walk in. They work on all makes and models of vehicles."
