"On back road,hard to find, but very convenient. Took a guy there in 2010 . Went by there about a month ago, still the same nothing has changed. Got 2 restrooms, and Temperature controled."

"It's been several years but I remember the Fulton Amtrak Rail Station. It was the closest station 90 miles west from Hopkinsville, Ky. The next closest was Dyerburg, Tn. about a 2 hours drive. Other reviews describe it right. A trailer, bathrooms, and a platform and parking lot out side of town. It is well lit from the highway but you can't see the station till you almost there. Usually there a person there about 15 to 45 minutes before the train get there. You can get ticket.Train arrive at 1:04 am for the north bound City of New Orleans and 3:14 am for the southbound City of New Orleans. Now this was 9 or 10 years ago and that schedule never change. Train arrive at New Orleans by 3:14 pm. Train arrive in Chicago by 9:00 am. Listening to the train on the scanner right now. Was on time 12-21-19."

"It is Fulton KY so you can't expect the station to look like the Barrington Hills Ill Metra station but it works. I've traveled the City of New Orleans back and forth from Chicago to New Orleans dozens of times now. The Fulton station is out in the boonies. Fulton has no chain hotels. The station is just a trailer with 2 bathrooms and a seating area. It is heated and air conditioned. It is super old but it all works. I'm writing this now on Nov 14th 2018 and it just snowed 3 inches here and it is nice and cozy in the station while I'm waiting for the 1:04am to the windy city. No complaints here. Nice and quiet and warm while I'm waiting here at the Fulton KY Amtrak station"
