"One of the best bars I've been to! They've recently started a redoing the place and so far it's a mix of rustic and modern. The staff are always friendly and hilarious. The new beers on tap are pretty good and the bourbon selection is great! Will def be coming back. They're under some new ownership and so far they are doing a great job!"

"Used to be fun on Wednesday. now the Eagle Spirits employees (their alcohol distributor) make fun of me for even mentioning going there. Boring. Always empty. And they hire pretty girls with no experience to bartend even though their trying to sell upscale bourbons. It’s sad how bad this place has gotten. The new management is terrible. I used to be a regular I go to Madison gardens now. smh"

"Great place to grab a beer! Love the bourbon selection! Locals were cool, they let a guy from out of town jump in on the pool tourney. Free pool table ? What?! John the bartender was friendly, knowlegable, and cool. Wish I was in town long enough to check out local music. Sweet patio outside, selection of games on tv. What else can you ask for? Only had time to check out one bar, clearly made a great choice."

"If you want the quintessential "Cheers" experience, this is the place to go. Full of great people and good food. There hasn't been one time that i've been there and not felt unwelcome. Super friendly staff and great service. I highly recommend The Copper Still as a place to go if you're ever in down-town Richmond."
