"We have taken our BMW here for 15 years and have always been pleased with the service and price. The service team here has been trust worthy and reasonable."
"Had work done from service to performance mods on my 19 gti great work they go above and beyond wouldn’t recommend anyone else."
"I needed the roof hinges on my 335i convertible repaired and I took it to two dealers and one other foreign car repair place. All the estimates was nearly $3000. I had one other place to check and it was Motorsports of Lexington and I figured I was wasting my time, but I went anyway. When they gave me an estimate of $687.00 I was extremely leary and he explained everything they would do to fix it. It took a few weeks to get in and I still almost didn't take it because I was apprehensive about the low price, but I took it. It took them only one day to fix it and made my apprehension even worse when they called and said it was ready. I live out of down and drove up the next day to see what was actually done and see if the price had changed. When I got there, I went to the vehicle and everything looked good. I got in and retracted the roof and it worked perfectly. I couldn't believe it! I went in and paid and told him I would like to speak to the mechanic and he asked if anything was wrong and I said, "No! Everything works perfectly. How much do I owe you and he said the total is $687.00" I was pleasantly surprised and I went back and Corey the mechanic wasn't there at the moment, but I told the other guys to tell him I wanted to thank him personally for fixing my car at the price they me. They said they would. My family owns four foreign cars and I told him that if something ever happens again, I will bring them here. I am still dismayed at the price and the quality of work done. If anyone reading this long review has an issue with their car, I wholeheartedly recommend these folks."
"I had always used Motorsports in the past, but sent my vehicle to local dealership as I knew the battery was dead and was still under 2 year factory warranty. Dealership told me alternator needed replaced for over 1900$ and did not even check the battery. So I had it towed to Motorsports where I knew I could count on thorough, systematic diagnostics and HONESTY. Mike took my 335i in, tested and recharged the battery and it was working at 100% and absolutely did NOT need a new alternator. He also checked the other items the dealer recommended and reassured me that my Bimmer was just fine. I can't thank them enough for their honesty and business ethics. Thank you!"
"Don't trust this place. I took my mini Cooper in to have it worked on. They replaced the junction box, fuel pump, cam shaft position sensor, and the spark plugs. This cost me $2100. I drove it home and all kinds of warning lights came on. I called Mike and he said to bring it in the next day to get looked at. My wife started it the next morning and drove it to the gas station next to her work 1 mile down the road from my house... It died pulling up to the pump and then burst into flames. I've contacted the owner and he doesn't seem to want to own up and says I can't prove it. I'm out $2100 I spent at Motorsports and I'm also out $2700 I still owed on the car. They can say it's not their fault all they want but my car didn't burst into flames before I dropped it off with them, and I drove it for a year before they worked on it... This review should tell you alot about this place. The owner won't own up EDIT: a simple Google search will show you their was one recall on my model mini ( a tire and rim recall) all water pump recalls were for 2007-2009. This is a plain and simple lie. Also, I came into the shop one week after this incident and asked if you wanted to go look at the car and told you the exact location. You denied. You simply told me "how bad of a situation this is for ME" the third time I invited you to look at my car, you went to my insurance companies salvage yard and looked at it. Yes my insurance company paid me the blue book value of the car. I wasn't trying to get the entire value of the car from you, just the $2100 I spent with you guys plus what I still owed on the car that my insurance didn't cover. I'm out $4,800 because your shop wouldn't own up."
