Once Upon A Child

"The store is dirty and the staff is not friendly. The staff are very loud when talking to each other - basically yelling around the store trying to have conversations with one another. There is an older lady that is obnoxiously loud. Who is the manager? There are enough 1 star reviews on here that you'd think they would be rectifying the situation. I have only been here once and most likely won't be back. I will find another location."

"Love shopping here. Selling is okay, just be sure you check out their fb posts to know what they’re needing. Would also be great if they didn’t start rushing people out of the store an hour before close. The woman with glasses and hair in a low bun, who I’m assuming was some sort of supervisor was barking orders at staff as well as customers so that she could get out of there before 6, as verbally stated. At 5:35pm, on a Sunday, staff was mopping the entryway, with no sign posted by the register, creating a fall hazard, as the sign was not placed properly. We only saw it as we were already walking on the wet floor, tucked into an aisle. It’s fine if you want to be out by 6, by all means, but amend your hours to say 5:30. My mother and I ran in to grab something super quickly that we realized we needed for the next day. It was great to see this was still open, but even a quick hunt for one item, that took us about 15 minutes from entry to exit was a horrible experience. Hoping I can find a OUAC with a friendly environment elsewhere. My toddler said to us when we got back to the car “why was that lady being mean to everyone?”. For that, my original rating of 2 stars, is now 1."

"They have a huge variety at this location definitely a must go! They have sales regularly and things are already super cheap and alot of it is brand new items"

"I avoid this store for the most part because I've never enjoyed the atmosphere and attitude of the staff. I do enjoy consignment options for my child but for a long time I shopped at Target instead and would not bring anything here because the staff alone. I recently tried a different OUAC and the this seems to be the only store that acts this way towards customers. I wouldn't even bother to try and sell here again because the way they treat you about anything is so petty. I recently moved and decided to try the OAUC near me and I was so relieved to find they had a much better way of talking to customers. I wish this location would fix their staffing problem because it really is a good location,but unfortunately the people working here are the rudest. I am a bartender I deal with the public constantly, There is no reason for their hostility here. It seems to be an ongoing issue per the other reviews, you would think they would want to change that perception of their business."
