"The clerk was very knowledgeable and courteous. The price was decent. It was reasonable but nothing to jump up and down about. I spent around 1200.00 and asked him to throw in a memory card and ," OH NO" he couldn't do that or a small cheap camera bag. I know what both cost and if it were my business I'd buy some at wholesale, throw them In with a large sale like that and it would really tickle the customer to death. Small acts of kindness go a long way but in the end , word of mouth is still your best or worse form of advertisement."

"Yesterday I bought my first “adult” camera. I purchased the Canon R5 along with a few lenses. I worked with Don Barker and he was great. About two weeks before my purchase I went in and he spent two hours with me explaining everything about the camera and answering every question I had. He let me demo every lens I wanted to check and never rushed me or pressured me. He also never tried to sell me something I didn’t want. Then when I told him I wanted to go home and do some more research he said that is what he would do for such a big purchase. It was nice to have a great customer experience and to not be pressured, instead having someone wanting to help you get what your looking for, and having the patience to explain and let you actually demo the camera and lenses. So thank you Don and I will make any future photography purchases through you. You earned yourself a customer for life."

"This is the only shop around dedicated to the photographer. The staff are all experienced and know the profession. If they don't have what you need, they will get it. On several occasions they were able to get me newly released products before the online dealers like B&H, Adorama and Amazon could get them. The latest was the Nikkor 40mm f/2 lens. I picked it up yesterday, Oct 6. The online guys still showed it as "pre-order". It's always a pleasure to go in and talk shop with their staff. Murphy's is the only place for the serious photographer, and also the novice who needs some direction."
