"We didn't realize that the restaurant was closing early on Sunday, and going to be closed the following week. Initially we were seated at a small booth. We were a party of 4 full-sized adults so we moved ourselves to a more comfortable table. The food was okay. The steak tacos weren't tender steak. Wouldn't recommend them."

"Really fun and colorful atmosphere! The food is amazing and the portions are huge! Worth the drive! Who would have thought you can get an amazing and delicious breakfast at a Mexican restaurant?? This location serves breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. The skillets are worth the drive and absolutely puts other breakfast places to shame. Who needs IHoP when you can get an amazing breakfast at El Toro Loco! Their regular lunch and dinner menu offers some of the best Mexican food you're gonna get in Southern Illinois!"

"As I stepped into El Toro Loco restaurant I was promptly greeted by a tall gentleman wearing a cowboy hat with boastful voice and magnetic personality. This dude was friendly to the 10th power and you just can't help but instantly like the guy. When he learned that I was in town to perform at a comedy show at the next town over we struck up a nice little conversation and he let me know that he used to be in the music entertainment industry. I wish I could remember his name but if you ever eat there you would know exactly who I was talking about. A young bubbly waitress helped me with my order and answered my questions about the restaurant and it's owner. After my delicious meal of Nachos Especial which comes with chicken, steak, shrimp, chorizo, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and topped with cheese I went to thank the owners and compliment about the excellent service and food. The husband was working back in the kitchen but I spoke with his wife and a woman from the local radio station for a bit. I left El Toro Loco feeling fully satisfied and pretty happy getting to know some lovely people. Highly recommended!"

"When we are in Metropolis this is one of our must stop places. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the food is terrific! The street tacos are incredible. This latest visit we discoved that anything ordered with seafood in it and you will not be disappointed, it is so fresh and large! The shrimp and scallops were amazing. Definitely highly reccomend El Toror Loco."
