"They charge an arm and a leg for a sandwich that I can make it home. They don't take coupons for some reason. And haven't taken coupons in well over a couple of years. But yet they still send coupons in the mail."

"Stopped here on our way through while on a road trip heading south. The woman working was so friendly and made our sandwiches perfectly! It’s always a bonus to have such great service, especially after a tiring day."

"So we ordered lunch about 2 weeks ago using the coupons and a week later went in to order got to check out and was told they are not taking coupons. Is this not a corporate deal? Will not be going back until they take the coupons because I paid over $13 for a foot long that was literally all bread so until they start taking the coupons or put enough meats, cheese and toppings on the sandwich to make it worth $13 I will eat elsewhere. Instead of honoring the coupons for sandwiches already made they had to throw them out wtg subway."

"The employees were great at this location. One was new and learning but he was giving it his best. The experienced associate was giving advice on how to be faster and efficient. Both did a great job. The sandwich was excellent and fresh. Why the 3 stars? PRICE. Subway unfortunately, as a whole, is not a good value when compared to other restaurants. 2 people can go to a sit down full service establishment and pay the same as 2 12" combos. Kudos to the employees for easing the pain of ever increasing prices. The restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere, just get an affordable pricing structure.......please! UPDATE JULY 2023.... This Metropolis location has had a new owner for a few years now. We usually don't visit this location or the ones in Paducah because they won't accept Subways Corporate National Coupons. Coupons aren't out all the time. We would be regulars again if the decision makers weren't acting so cheap. We simply wait till we're in Vienna Illinois and get subway up there. We did make an exception the other day. We ordered Italian Bmt's, the associate did an excellent job making the subs and they tasted great. The store looked nice and clean. So, business falling off? Don't blame the workers!"
