"Signs always wrong. Christmas...I understand that they were busy BUTT. WHAT I PURCHASED WAS BELTS,,DOCKERS,, REDUCED. OKAY..SIGN SAID. BUY ONE GET 2ND 50% OFF. I BOUGHT 2. THEY RANG UP THE REDUCED PRICE..... OKAY, I SAID WHAT THE WHOLE DISPLAY SAID....MAN SAID. " OH, THESE ARE REDUCED SO WE CANNOT SELL THEM THAT WAY." I ASK WHY,, THATS WHAT SIGN SAID. THE WHOLE DISPLAY FACING THE ISLE SAID THAT. HE SAID OKAY,,,I WILL TELL YOU THE PRICE. HE BEGAN TO GO BY ORIGINAL PRICE,,,ON HIS CALCULATOR X'S $70% OFF EQUALS X AMOUNT OF MONEY. I SAID THE SIGN DIDN'T SAY TO go back to ORIGINAL PRICE ,,,then buy one get one 50%. He got kinda snappy acting. I SAID THE WHOLE DISPLAY SAYS WHAT I SAID. HE NEVER WENT TO LOOK,, OR SEND ANYONE TO CHECK. IT WAS TAKE THEM OR LEAVE THEM. I BOUGHT THEM AT REDUCED PRICE ANYWAY BUT........THAT STORE ALWAYS HAS SIGNAGE ISSUES. I APOLOGIZED FOR KINDA RAISING MY VOICE,,, GRUMBLED, AND SAID..." THAT'S WHY I DON'T SHOP THAT STORE BECAUSE THE SIGNS ARE ALWAYS WRONG.". He just looked at me...he could have CARED LESS. I RETIRED RETAIL,, WHEN I SHOP I TRY TO BE NICE,,, LORD KNOWS I GOT YELLED AT AMONG OTHER THINGS...SO I KNOW HOW IT FEELS. ANYWAY,,, I WAS JUST SHOCKED AT THE ATTITUDE."

"A visit to Kohl's is always like a fever dream. I bought a cotton candy maker here and shirts for work in a non-circus related industry. I'm never sure how much stuff costs because the items are always discounted and Kohl's sends you coupons for extra discounts and we all receive different amounts based on I have no clue what. Then after you checkout they give you something called Kohls Cash which is like a faker version of money. Like a fiat of a fiat. And you can bring returns from their cheaper more convenient competitor Amazon here which is weird. My kids love the cotton candy maker. 5 stars."

"I think the security working in the back is slow. An employee approached me in the parking lot, in the DARK, (22 year old woman) to ask if the censor went off after I walked through it. And then he described the article of clothing I was wearing in the mic. Without saying anything they thought I stole.. i came from the customer service desk in the back, where I bought the item I reserved then BOUGHT, in case they thought I magically appeared with a HUGE bag and pajamas out of nowhere, with all these cameras, two placed right where the customer service desk is. Don’t worry I only know that bc I wanted to see how they could’ve missed me? they should’ve never taken those measures with me, you’re not even supposed to confront people if they stole. I think the security in the back may be sleeping on the job, or I think they might just be incompetent. Both unfortunate, and it reflects terribly on the store. I mean your job is to just watch screens all day and occasionally walk around the store. I came back in the store to find a lady whispering in her mic when I came in to complain. So weird. She tried her best to try to play it off. Anyways. the little kohls cash they offered me doesn’t do anything, only accepted it bc I thought I would gift it to someone for Christmas, but I just tossed it away, I wouldn’t recommend anyone shopping there anyway, there are better local stores with better items. I know next time other stores run out of items again, I won’t result to shopping at Kohls. Also, the machine was working perfectly when I got there, I heard the machine go off when people actually stole! I wonder if they would’ve not gone that far if I looked a certain way. assumptions like what they had are harmful and not always true. Do better."

"I love kohls. Have been going here for years. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have as big of selection on a lot of items as they make quite a bit of room for Sephora."

"Today, 10/13/23, I was at Kohl's customer service desk at 12:10 p.m. to do some Amazon returns. There were 2 women working. One behind the customer service desk and the other doing the Amazon returns. The woman doing the Amazon returns was complaining to the woman behind the desk about her job. I don't know her name because because she wasn't wearing a name badge. She was an older woman with grayish very short hair. I walked up to the desk; she had to finish complaining to her co-worker and then she turned around to go to the Amazon desk while rolling her eyes. She was not pleasant whatsoever. I had 3 returns. They all had the QR code for the return. On one of them, she said what I provided her was not working and I should look on my phone for the QR code. I thought this was strange so I stepped aside so she could help the next customer while I was trying to get her what she wanted. She then proceeded to do the same thing to the next customer. She told us what we gave her to scan what incorrect. He also felt like this was not right. So he stepped aside for the next customer. Amazingly enough that customer's paperwork scanned! So she tried the other customer's code and it worked! The only thing she did different was hold the scanner further away from the QR code. Then she tried mine again. Amazing! It worked. She said it worked because she was using a new system so she had to switch back to an old system and it worked. I didn't believe her. I think she was embarrassed and was trying to save face. Also, she kept saying she needed a QR code but what we gave her WAS the QR code. She didn't even know what she was talking about. This woman needs an attitude adjustment...or a new job."
