"I've spent hundreds of dollars in this store over the years buying clothes and gear. Today, the wife and I were on Dart and decided to stop by to do some shopping. We walked in, and the employee behind the counter asked us to hold our backpacks. Why? I asked. He said, "Because it was their store policy." I told him his tone sounded like he was profiling us. But because we wanted to shop, we gave him our backpacks. I bet no one else who walked in with a bag got asked to surrender their bags, too. As it is already, they walk around the store watching your every move. These are the things I've been dealing with all my life, and it is exhausting. I'm a US citizen and a veteran, and I give back to my community. Why would I want to go into a store and steal something I can afford?? I can only hope the management at this store revisits its customer relations policies and trains its employees not to profile customers."

I ordered a pair of hiking boots and got a rare reaction to the Covid vaccination that caused me to be paralyzed and in the hospital for many weeks. They held my boots for me until I could finally walk into the store to buy them on my own two feet! I mean, how cool is that! Knowing those boots were waiting for me really pushed me to get better!
