"This is a big place. There are areas for events (they still had the Oktoberfest banner when we visited), a large number of tables, a playground, some tables near the bar and more. Many of the tables are out in the sun, which may be good or bad, depending on the time of year. There are maybe 15 beers on tap. They were served by some surprisingly young helpful gentleman. We got a couple beers and headed over to the food truck for some BBQ. We were informed that the menu was limited that day, but we found a sandwich and a brisket bowl to have excellent meat ... just delicious. The beers were just OK. Not good enough to try a second of the same one. And since we were done with our food, we decided to head out. Overall, it's an interesting place that should feel a lot like Family Business. But it didn't quite resonate with us on our visit. We'd happily go back and so we'll see how it rates the next time."

I particularly enjoyed the flight of their signature brews, which allowed me to savor the diverse flavors they had to offer. "Pleasant service. Plenty of table space, but all outside (shaded). Kids' play area, but more appropriate for about 8+. Strong military vibe. Fair pricing, although for forgettable beer. Overall, a decent brewery addition and alternative in the Hill Country."

Joe and Stacey’s commitment to and involvement in the community are second to none. 12 Fox is as much a community entity and destination as it is a brewery and it’s a fabulous brewery. The selection of quality beer is always top notch and if one likes wine, mead or other indulgences they typically have other local craft beverages to enjoy. Bring the whole family as the playground will wear out the most active of kiddos while you enjoy the ambience."
